Don't mind the late Saturday kick off. Extends Saturday. Always a great sporting day obviously, may be we can sack Marsch like we sacked Bielsa last season. Only good thing to come out of Leeds in recent years is Jimmy Milner.Great rivals esp in the Don Revie era. Was on the Kop the day dozy Sprake threw the ball into his own net. He always did a sort of round arm throw out but this time he just held on to it a split second too long and threw it behind him. Hilarious.
my first big game on the Kop April 73 and it virtually gave us the Championship. That was an incredible day on the Kop.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjJNLiAvkW4
Great memories. One of her cousins in a big Leeds fan. Goes from Cork over to Elland Rd on a regular basis. I wind him up every time we thrash them. Eddie Gray was my favourite out of their great 60's early 70's team. Lorimer as well. They could play but put the boot in just as quick. Bremner was a swine, Charlton as well but it's a great footballing City and I'd prefer if they stayed up.
not sure what you mean about the Kop but Leeds is still seen as a major rival throughout our history of the last 60 years the ground will be buzzing for this
I mean playin in front of the Kop should give the players a lift. You are correct there is a great rivalry, between the two clubs. Apologies for any confusion, I must admit I do not see Leeds as the same force, as they where, years ago. Enjoy the game !
