How many goals do we need to come top of the group? I don't think we will try to get a big score, need to rest a few and get back to basics of good defending. Can't afford to lose another game, mainly for player confidence. 4-2-3-1 is my preference, mainly because of the players we are missing.

just cant even begin to get excited about this  and if Napoli play to form it could be disastrous for us regardless of who starts.

Not sure how ... fab hardly moves enough these days to be tired.

It's hard to know where to start, the weekend was so demoralising, together with having already qualified, it's hard to generate any enthusiasm for this fixture. Hopefully feel the passion closer to kickoff.

I'm in two minds over this game, on the one hand I want a 'full strength' team, get out there as if qualification depends on it and show the fans etc what it means to play for this club.

On the other hand, take no more injury risks, it's a dead rubber effectively, compete but with a small 'c'.

The other nark is over VVD. The ' Mr.Cool' persona is starting to wear a bit thin. He has escaped the flak that has been flying about, Trent & Joe have been the target but on Saturday he was atrocious, flat footed, lethargic even, bordering on Maguire's 'sloth' impression. Get your finger out lad.

 Probably had plum duff for his tea.

For this game I only care about wanting to see Nunez start.

As he has been able to score consistently recently let's help him keep it going, momentum is everything as is confidence.

Will be good to see if a makeshift side can show the old heads exactly what is needed to play the system we have, or remind the gaffer and co that maybe for the system to work you need a more mobile midfield.

Either way I will be watching and supporting, let's get some confidence back!

Certainly difficult to be too excited about this game. Important not too have any injuries, with a tough away fixture at the weekend.

Half the squad who played Saturday shouldn't be tired they hardly broke a sweat over the 90.

Besides the front 3 are not playing for each other and that has to be put right. In interviews they say.." I play for the team" etc well then start doing that.

Jeez mate your asking a lot. Mind you it seems that every other game we do ok so SPurs game could be difficult

team selection could be very interesting does he put out the same team and allow them to almost make amends for the lack of performance on Saturday or really take a drastic cull of underperforming players.

I've gone for this lineup later. Give a few of the younger lads a chance, but I'm still absolutely desperate to stick as many past Napoli as we can. Revenge needed.

The last time I was this pessimistic we beat City with an absolutely outstanding performance. I would take a 4-0 beating here if we could beat Spurs and Southampton.

So as there's an important league game against Spurs on Sunday I can see Jürgen getting the young guns out tonight to give a few of them some Champions League experience whilst he can.

I just hope whoever plays does so with some pride in the red shirt.
