Loved John Toshack as a kid he was my favourite player

Just watched a boss documentary on amazon prime about the the big man and his time as Swansea manager and how he took them from the old 4th Division to the top flight.

Good program on with him last night on bbc reflecting on his playing and managerial career , said the reason he never managed us , was because Bob changed his mind about retiring and stayed on another year , inferred it was almost in the bag , he had told swansea of his intentions, and when it didn’t happen it soured his relationship with them .
