Yeah possibly not mate. Maybe push Jones into that front 3. I'd rather chamberlain in midfield.

Klopp may start strong see if we can get a few goals up then rotate. make loads of changes on 60mins.

Dont think it will harm Nunez getting another game under his belt even if its just an hour.

Alot of our bench players need minutes. Bob isn't going to the WC ... he's a rhythm player sometimes so I'd start him. Gomez, bejcetic, Ox, milner, hendo, tsimikas, Ramsay, Jones, Fabio ... all could do with minutes ... as you say maybe make changes 2nd half.

No Milner so expect Hendo to start possibly with young Bajetic

Bobby is 7 without a goal I think and looks absolutely knackered. We’ve overplayed him the last couple of weeks as we’ve got no one else so I’d bench him for this one so he’s a bit more fresh for Southampton.

This makes sense, as long as we don't go too weak overall. Get it won first. Then make the changes, don't go behind and have to chase the game !

Going to need someone down the middle maybe Bobby and Darwin 45 each.  Ox isn't going to finish the game so will need all our subs

I am fine with this team in the context of.our fixture list and league position, but we need to be prepared to lose with it.

Does anyone know the status of Kaide Gordon. His injury must have been a bad one.

Out until after the new year.

At the moment we just need to put strong teams out and win games and build momentum. I'd have no issue with Darwin playing tonight ... confidence , form and results come with confidence. Use the squad yes ... but we've only tonight and Saturday and then nothing until after Xmas. Strong team out ... get the job done ... make some changes. We are defending this trophy 🏆

Hopefully the younger players can shine tonight.  Interested to see a couple of them under the lights of a midweek cup game.  Haven't seen much of Doak so hope he gets a run out.

Derby look like they have got a similar-ish looking record in the Championship as us in the Premier League this season - should be a pretty competitive game.

I think Klopp will still playa few of the stronger players but would expect to see Kelleher, Ramsay, Bacjevic, Kostas, Ox, Phillips, Carvalho and Milner (if he's fit?) all to play.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Hendo and Jones get a start as well.

Could have meant trent or Jones. I want to see a strong team tonight. We're done till boxing day after Saturday. Can't imagine we'd rest players for the WC.
