Another RB, that can play CB might not be a bad thing though.

Need to consider young Calvin Ramsey has a long road ahead to recover from his injury, who knows how he will recover next season.

Yes he does look a very good prospect - I can see him spending a year out on loan

Mane. Robertson. Matip. Gomez. Fabinho. Salah. Bobby to name a few.
In years gone by we found big Sami hyypia for peanuts. Again there are loads others.

Some of our big name signings haven’t worked out. Keita. Carroll.

There is no guarantee. Getting the right player is what’s more important.

The market has changed and inflation has gone up. A Southampton Mane would've cost 80 mill+ in this market if not more, same with Salah.

There are many ways to buy a player

Do you think they club needs to have £300mil sat in the bank ready to spend - a transfer deal can be structured many ways to get past having huge fees.

This thread has went way off on a tangent. And I know I've been as guilty as any.

Probably best to find the relevant thread guys now that a sale seems off the table.
