Great stuff from Kelleher to bail us out there.

Thought it was the wrong team tonight, with a break coming up we could have afforded to play a couple more of the seniors and I think that would have allowed the kids that did play to flourish a bit more. Job done though.

Doak looks a prospect and a solid performance from Ramsay. Very disappointed with Ox and Tsimikas.

It was insane. No VAR until the semi finals.

Ok, but there's a linesman just next to the goal...

      Some decent showings tonight

Bajcetic was tidy but too many times trying to force the pass

      Clark was tidy enough

Stewart just not in the game

Fraunedorf quiet first half a bit brighter second

Ramsey - can see his talent clear as day

Impressed with Doak - quick , direct -gave them problems

Was glad to see Ox get 90 mins - he always looked forward , played some great balls and still happy to take the shot on - if only he wasn’t made of balsa

Kelleher best second goalkeeper in the world, deserves to be number one somewhere.

We won't be able to hold on to him beyond next summer I think. He'll want to move and there will be big money on the table for him I'd say.

      Kelleher! Brilliant. Thanks!!!

      Now onto the next round.

Two penalties denied by their keeper off his line. Absolute joke that was.

Kelleher won more penalty shoot outs than any other Liverpool keeper?

They just sat deep so it wasn't easy to carve out chances. Doak looks promising. Kelleher..well just watches the ball and if you do that you have a better chance...and he never encroached.

Justice is served. Their f**king gk was miles off his line for every single one of our pens.

      He was worse than Dudek!!!

That last save from Kelleher needs to be framed. Incredible.  :f_doh:

That 3rd save from Kelleher was top drawer! I think I’d be inclined to sub of Ali in the event of another shootout!

Ramsay looks decent. Very tidy on the ball and strong.

Doak and Ramsay the two stand outs and have probably earned a starting slot in the next round.

Totally exhausted after that, love penalties but hate them at the same time. Spent most of the time during pens peeping from behind the sofa. We are through, the young uns did it with a little help from their friends, that’s what friends are for! On we go. YNWA.

Ramsey, Doak, and Kelleher are the standouts for me.

Bajcetic looks promising but needs to work on that final pass/ball.

Elliot looked good too, but Carvalho needs more time to bed in at the club (like Elliot).

Funnily enough, disappointed in most of the senior players.

The referee let the game continue tonight but thought he didn't handle their prancing goalkeeper well at all. Could have cost us.

Bobby Clarke, Bajcetic, Ramsay all did OK. Stewart didn't get much of a look in. Frauendorf had one or two nice touches. Doak took the eye, gutsy type. Looks a better player than that overrated Gordon across the paaarrkk.

Kelleher let two in...part from that he did ok.

If we get the right result against Southampton we will have won 8 out of the 10 games leading up to the World Cup which is a lot more promising than the first few months of the season.

When is draw for next round?
Usually it’s done in the back of a Lidl car park about 3 in the morning.

A few favourable teams still left to draw which is good.
