Well that'll do but Ali made a hat trick of point blank saves. When they had the ball second half we just did not work hard enough to get it back. Nunez improving game by game. 3 pts slightly hard earned points in the end.

Swithering about MOM, Darwin scores twice, Robbo two assists and plenty of created opportunities, and Ali superb in goal. Thought Elliot had a good game and Thiago. Think I'll go with Ali.

Seemed to drop off in terms of intensity and legs again, thank God we have the best keeper in the world. Job done, hopefully we will be in a better shape post world cup

      Good win, reds.

Obviously those two horror results in the past month, but beat City at home, Spurs away, into the next rounds of the two cups we're involved in and moving in the right direction finally in the Premier League.

Hopefully our squad is in a better state come the 20th December than we have been for most of this season.

Considering how horrible our season has been, 10 points behind City could have been much worse IMO.

Think they knew they had it won.  Not to mention the whole World Cup thing at the back of their mind.  Half expected it

Let us hope that Alisson, Fabinho, Ibrahima Konate, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson, Darwin Nunez and Virgil van Dijk come through the World Cup campaign unscathed.

Good time for Klopp to gather his thoughts and recuperate a bit.

Still got that midfield/defense frailty. It's just giving away that yard or two, just a tiny bit slow closing down space when teams are passing it about..not even when they get near the box. Got to work harder on hunting down the ball.

Used to be our strong suit but now teams pass through us. Indicative of an ageing team I suppose. The Ox when he came on didn't improve things. Milly always hunts it down. Got to improve on that front when we get back.

Ok they had three chances which Ali done well to save. Not forgetting their keeper saved 5 or 6 efforts from us. All in all we well deserved the win, Ali motm for me, and I’m glad to see another improvement in our play. Not back to our best by any means, but we’re slowly getting there.
Let’s hope we get all our lads back from the WC without injury, and we restart our season on fire.
Good solid 3 points, and some pretty tasty football as well.

Tbh Lallana I was dropping off to sleep, so I got my head down, not that the football was boring, I was just nodding off, it can happen so yeah went to sleep after the first twenty mins, no insights to share about the game this time around. don't like Nunez getting called raw all the time though, Nevillesque snobbery that lark.
