I spent 6 months in Alder Hey when I was 2 1/2 with severe scalding to my chest and arms. I clearly don’t remember anything about it as I was so young, but they definitely saved my life.
I’m 71 now, so they’ve been amazing in what they do for a very long time.

Yeah boss Ozzy had a fair few visits to there myself in the 60’s & 70’s
As did many of my siblings & mates
All due to arseing around as kids
Didn’t have far to hobble though as I grew up ten minutes away from the original alder hey
