Just looking at the drivers points. Got to say, I think Lewis is having an underrated season. Dialling it in and more often than not maxing out what is capable in that car. Here's hoping he pips Alonso ahead of him just to see his old rival sh*t his nappy again...for old times sake.

      He'll easily beat Alonso now.
Development has seen Aston Martin caught and passed.
They started strong but their developments haven't brought them any real pace compared to the others.
Red Bull have so much grip it's ridiculous.
McLaren have brought some monster updates, between the floor, sidepods and now the front wing.

It should be heartening for the others that so much time can be found.
Abandoning Zero Pod and replicating Red Bull's design has worked wonders for McLaren.
We'll see convergence of designs soon.

      Also: Lando is elite.

its unfathomable for a 7 time constructors champion to make such a bollox of two cars in succession no wonder Lewis if miffed.  The McCLaren is MErc powered yet it left Lewis for dead out of the corners.

RB have got a magic bullet for sure its hard to believe others havent sussed it out yet

Ricciardo to replace Vries as new driver at Alpha Tauri with immediate effect. Great news for me as Ric does have that like ability factor about him. Could this be the beginning of replacing Perez?

Give it a few races and if Perez keeps missing out on Q3 then yes.

The Silverstone crowd can never be bettered. Consistently the best event on the f1 calendar the last decade or so. Pure racing, pure thrills, pure passion. A world away from the sterilised sh*t holes of Abu Dhabi and the likes.
Can it be "pure racing" with so little passing?
And not so sure about these thrills you imagined.
It was a boring race once MV regained the lead.
Another knock on this particular race is the lack of pit stops (1) leading to an uneventful race.
Lastly, McClaren has had high end pace all year and this track is so full throttle it would have been a surprise if McClaren hadn't had it's finest day though 2nd and 4th was indeed spectacular.

Visually, I love watching these open tracks where spectators can see so much of the course vs. the city courses. And don't get me started on the abortion in Miami.

All subjective but I very much enjoyed the British Grand Prix. Perfectly thrilling moments if you were watching away from the dominance at the front (Albon's passing, Norris's defence on Hamilton) We've been treated to a poor season but the last couple of races have been decent. That's more down to the track than the cars which are worse than ever.

I think he’s gone anyway. Perez never been near Twatty since they came team mates.

Love the racing polo shirts, and the changing of the changing of the spark plugs mid race.

Can't see Checo being in that seat next season mate, if he even survives the season.

Incredible to see him on pole again it seems like a lifetime and I noticed Max starting to make excuses he has had it far too easy  even from his own team mate. It will be interesting to see if Merc have the pace to hold of the RB but lets see how the first corner goes.

Amazing lap from Lewis, crashtappen looked well pissed, blaming his car, give me a break, if Lewis was in that red bull he would have put it on pole by a lot bigger margin than he did in his merc.
