Disclaimer - on the phone multitasking thread.

Starting one since there isn't one less than 12 hours before Kick off. I'd normally say we are slacking but this only means everyone is enjoying a lovely well deserved break !

I'd like the idea of this

      Ox.           Nunez.    Salah.
      Thiago.   Fab.        Hendo.
      Robertson. VVD. Matip. Gomez

               Becker

I didnā€™t see second half v city so not sure how ox performed. Suppe he must have done alright or you would t have put him in🤷ā€ā™‚ļø or is it because we have no alternatives fit ?
Assume Trent is still Ill 😕

Clearly not the restart we were hoping for.
That starting 11 looks ok, but we canā€™t have a very good bench if weā€™re starting ox.

Difficult to say we wonā€™t concede nowadays so going for a hard fought away win snd 1-2 to the Red men.

Guess it's Hendo or Elliott to partner Fab and Thiago . Carvalho or Ox left of front 3 . Presume Trent and VVD if over illness

                Trent. Gomez Matip  Robbo
                  Elliot.  Fabinho. Thiago
                  Salah.  Nunez.  Carvalho

Canā€™t see why Trent canā€™t play after only his 5min cameo in the desert, Jimmy is crook and we canā€™t have Gomez at rb when we have a perfectly fit rb on the bench, so Trent it is then,
Will JĆ¼rgen risk Virgil? doubt it tbh, but probably needs a few more days yet, so no point risking him for the sake of one or two more games without him ,

Thought we were too light in midfield V fraudsters and were easily overrun, canā€™t see JĆ¼rgen making the same mistake hence my inclusion of Fabs from the start, also Harvey will have a easier time V Villa and Thiago will hopefully boss it and control the tempo,
Carvalho did himself no harm and took his goal well, he is increasingly looking accustomed to premier league life and is settling nicely, heā€™s handy in that position until either Bobby comes back or indeed Diaz who for me gives us extra dimension,

I canā€™t have been the only one who noticed Oxā€™s superb outside of his right boot pass to Darwin V Shitty it was almost Gerrard.ess, that wasnā€™t his only contribution however, but not enough to warrant a start tonight, but, heā€™s a seasoned pro and will be very handy off the bench especially if he can deliver quality like that,

Be interesting game, neither side @ full strength but both need max points, can only see a mighty Reds win and the start of a winning streak to take us into the top 4 ??

Watching the spurs game, they look slow and sluggish.

Just hope we come out the blocks

This is our recent problem. Starting with a low tempo and letting opposition get s foothold. Not only is it difficult to recover, it gives the opposition more confidence.

I've spent the past week thinking this was at home for some reason.  Had it as a nailed on three points because of that but I'm a little bit more wary now.

Could be a tight hard fought game. Alisson will need to be sharp, very sharp. Down to the wire. The Boss likes the Ox and has been somewhat disappointed with his time here. I think he might play him and if it comes off he'll be thinking we deffo need that option till the others recover.

      0-1.

A real horrible fixture to be coming back to. If we win this it will be a great result.

      Draw wouldn't upset me.
