Our pressing is much better here. Keita giving them problems.

Don’t know about amazing but he looked strikingly like a football player for a second.

Good touch and nice cut back - caused mayhem that led to the goal.

Nunez is erratic as f**k, but he works his ass off and is absolutely rapid which are 2 great traits to have

      An agent of chaos.

He wakes up in the morning and chooses violence.

Massive three points although still so much to work on as it's worrying how easy it is to create chances against us.

I thought it would be an exciting match to watch.
Could have been any score really but certainly positives to take

Happy with that.  When Thiago and Ox went off I think we settled back fairly quickly and regained control of the game.

Will take that, shaky at the back but I don't expect that to change anytime soon.

Good to see Salah on the score sheet.

Nunez while not clinical today was a constant nuisance and always had their defenders on their heels.

      On to the next one!

Like to see Trent put a marker down toward a strong 2nd half of the season. Same for Fabinho.

I think I got this. Good win.

A wins a win, and three huge points, but seriously worried about our defensive frailties.
Some brilliant football in small spells, but something ain’t right.
It’s not the goals we concede but the chances we give up.
For all his misses, I’ve gone Nunez motm, for all the chaos he causes for the opponents.
F***ing beast of a player who will come good regards finishing.

I saw the same Liverpool as before the break. The only difference: better luck. We avoided a quick one and nailed two early. But the same shaky defense and stretches of losing our plot. We tried harder to press but this kind of press is over its time. It's so exhausting for your own players and once you escape it you have a lot of space.

This game could have easily ended 3-3. We better do something in January, keywords are Sheikhs and Bellingham. Keita never looked slower, so I hope he's gone, Ox had stretches, but not good enough if we have promising youngsters coming from behind.

I will take the win but this is still looking like a looong season.

Great result and a massive 3 points. Rode our luck due to poor finishing from Villa...Thought Keita looked lively when he came on, Nunez, well I feel for him a bit , his work rate is excellent, soon as he gets one the floodgates will open.....Onwards

Watched it with my dad today.

Decent 1st half ... Nice to score early for a change. They could have scored 3 or 4 first half and so could we. Defensively, both at the back and in midfield were just good enough.

2nd half I thought we were awful. Villa should have won the game. We just play brainless football. We were leading yet totally wide open time after time, lazy in possession and just downright frustrating. Over the years when we've been losing I've watched us pass across the front of teams .... trying to get through a brick wall, no room round the back. Villa had no such issue. A couple of passes and right in. They were 4 or 5 on 2 at one point. Just brainless football.

The 3 points is the positive. I thought Robbo did well. Lovely to see the kid come on and kill it off.

Finally, Darwin. Not sure what to make of this lad. Obviously he's really quick ... puts alot in. But quality wise , looks well off it for me. Not gonna right the lad off. But he looks clumsy and I never expected him to score today. He's decent in the air ... but on the deck it feels like he will miss everytime. But fair play to him on the 3rd. We need him scoring. Bar salah nobody else really chips in regular.

Leicester up next. They look dire and that should be 3. 2 back on spurs today which is another positive.
