He seems to be coming on under Slots tutoring

Unlike Grav, I'm not gonna say he looks a different beast under Arne just yet because his first few Prem cameos weren't up to much but there are promising signs for him on that left side....looks more inclined to mix his game up and he's improved coming inside and having a little pop at goal.

I think Cody is becoming a man in front of our eyes.

Even potentially with Jota, 3 great options from the left. But Jota has a job to do down the middle. We could really do with another quality number 9. Salah until the end of the season and chiesa is fine as long as chiesa is happy being backup and getting his minutes and games were required.

Think it has to be Cody.So much strength on the ball.Just makes things happen.Hard to leave Diaz out. But then again if he started with Diaz, Cody coming on after 60, his strength would pay as defenders lose a bit of energy late on.

Yeah when you look at Cody now I think he looks more of a physical specimen than even last season. Trent too has bulked up the past 18 months but with Cody it's helping him shrug challenges away that in the past were halting him as well as his shooting which has true power behind it now.

Still going with Lucho because he's in a run of top form but something tells me Cody will be a more consistent threat over a season.

Love it when he comes on. Always wants to drive at the oppo and shoot...and what a fkn ferocious shot he has on him!

He keeps coming with big goals , he is starting to develop more physical upper body strength as well looking quicker on the ball

If he could jusr find a way to be a bit more confident on his left foot then he will be a big player

Love the goals celebrations, either the handshake or the salute. Not in the king Kenny or Johnny Barnes class for celebrations though

Awesome display. When we struggled to breakthrough he stood up and took the initiative and cut the crap.

Doubted he was capable of that and didn't believe he had that in him. What a way to be proven wrong. Slot is doing wonders with him.

He showed enough times before Arne came in there was a player in there, always looked better on that left flank and clearly Arne sees him as such too.

Got a lot of tools, he’s tall, strong, decent pace, can deliver a wicked cross and has a vicious shot on him.

Man of the match today. He can be formidable in no time if he keeps it up like that.

What a magnificent season he is having.

Great performance yesterday.

Some great competition on our left flank. I expect Arne to not have to choose sunday as Diaz will go through the middle but once Jota is back doing what Jota does we have some riches there for sure 😀

Cody was fantastic last night. Had 2 goals as far as im concerned. Offside has just lost me now.

He's become one of our most consistent performers since being used primarily in his favorite position. Good thing we didn't move him on like so many thought we should last year.
