He’s scoring some big goals - Fulham and Leicester equalisers. Massive moments in the game and he’s keeping a cool head with fantastic finishing.

Some great competition on our left flank. I expect Arne to not have to choose sunday as Diaz will go through the middle but once Jota is back doing what Jota does we have some riches there for sure 😀

Cody was fantastic last night.

Imagine, just imagine, from nowhere Nunez suddenly hits top form and just starts banging them in. I know it's hard to imagine, but just think about that.

What a front 5 we would have. Gakpo, Lucho, Jota, Mo and Darwin banging them in from everywhere.

He's become one of our most consistent performers since being used primarily in his favorite position. Good thing we didn't move him on like so many thought we should last year.

Dont recall seeing many 'Sell Gakpo' shouts. Maybe they were early doors in his time here and I missed them. Same for Grav as well.

He isn't THAT young though is he? He's 24/25 and he's been here long enough now to adapt and find his feet. With Grav it's a bit different as he came late in the summer and didn't have a pre-season with us.

If he doesn't impress in these next 10-15 games, he could well be shown the door in the summer.

Must admit, he has developed loads and deserves immense credit. I would say he is one of the top wide forwards in the league now. I wasn’t sure of him at all from when he first came. Seems to have improved physically which has helped him

With last season now concluded, you have more time to reflect. On the whole he had a decent season and yes there were some harsh words aimed at him, these came during his dry spell as the #9 where he wasn’t involved. Playing from the left you could see there was a player there which we are now seeing outright as Arne uses him solely in the position he’s able to thrive.

Gakpo is really improving and is cementing his place in the team. I believe he's more impactful than Diaz, the latter being, to me, a bit more wasteful.

I was very critical because I think he simply did not score enough last season, compared to Darwin who had decent stats.

Without that goal it's highly unlikely we would have got a point out of it. I really feared a Man Utd second at that stage and it had all the hallmarks of them going 2-0 up. But up stepped Cody and he injected life into the game for us. That's massive. I doubted his abilities and wanted him sold. He wasn't capable of big goals at big moments but he's proved me wrong. That was a massive goal that ensured we got something out of the game. Without it, I'm sure United would have gone 2-0 up.

He was quite quiet for a big part of the game, but like Salah, he delivered when he needed to and that's what we expect of him.

Hopefully, he can keep on doing that.

The only pleasure you get nowadays Keith, is the odd time Liverpool drop points..
