Too often invisible for my liking.
Mane, don't think I can recall ever thinking, "didnt notice Mane today". With Gakpo, its regular.
Gakpo has a really good, powerful shot on him when he cuts inside, but just doesn't do enough to make him top class.
Diaz on the other hand, have never seen him have a quiet game. He is not a #9 so again struggled there and offered nothing as a focal point (hopefully Slot bins that one off), but once on the left he did at least look lively. He lacks the killer in front of goal so he too is not top class, but I'd edge him over Gakpo in overall output.
We had a 0.6 xG today, and that was almost entirely down to Mo.
Chiesa I'd like to see be given a proper go on the left (and more than a run out on a bone dry pitch like Plymouth). He combines the outfield quality of play that Diaz provides, and the direct attacking threat that Gakpo can give (when he does appear). He is a dangerous player who is constantly involved, a combination neither Gakpo nor Diaz can bring.
