Pre-match: Liverpool v Leicester; EPL; 8 p.m. 30 Dec 2022

A return to Anfield as Liverpool (7-4-4 - 25 points and 6th in the table) host Leicester City (5-2-9 - 17 points and 13th in the table).

We've scored 31 and conceded 18 in our 15 league matches. They've scored 25 and conceded 28 in their 16 league matches.

We will be missing Firmino, Milner, Curtis Jones, Diaz, Jota and Arthur. I think Konate is back training now after his post-World Cup break.

I'm interested to see if Ox starts up front again. I'm sure Salah and Nunez will. Also, does Jürgen go with Fabinho, Henderson and Thiago as his midfield? We play again less than 72 hours after this one at Brentford.

Feeling very confident about the outcome of tonight 's game against Leicester, at Anfield for some reason, going with a 4  0 victory for the  Reds. It is time Darwin's luck changed in front of goal and may score a couple against struggling Leicester !

If we can get an early goal then I can see the floodgates opening with a Bournemouth-like hammering on the cards.

Should be up for 3 points today, at least by the form book. Expect the starting 11 as Rossy Red listed.

Super excited. Hope Elliot gets the start, but hearing Fab is out, so I didn't want him to start that way. Hopefully that's not true. Definitely need to rotate a tad in loom for Monday

Yes, unfortunately Robby, that's why I can't stand them  they really think they're something special  and yes, I do have neighbours etc that support them, that's why I love to get my flags,. banners and scarf's out when Liverpool yet again reach another cup final

Like Cas, I hate this f***in lot, once our bogey side back in the day they alway seemed to F**k us up whenever we needed a vital win or on the brink of something  specific, a long way to go in this current campaign but I can see this lot alongside  Blueshite battling for survival, and probably  be saved by a side like Forest, Rogers will be sweating like a choir boy under a priests gown, when we batter them tonight, he’s my favourite for the next managerial chop, 🤣


Think we’ll turn it on tonight and slam down a marker to those above us that we’re coming, hard and fast, a win takes us to within two points off top 4, we dragged back a 14 point gap last season and were pipped at the post, again by the Fraudsters!!!
