University Research on the Qatar World Cup

I am involved in a university research project looking at the recent World Cup in Qatar and whether this was a highly unusual tournament, unlikely to be repeated, or the start of future World Cups loaded with political and social issues. Well it started in November. So "highly unusual" would be a good way to describe a usually summer month tournament.

Then you have Fifa and the bent relationship between Qatar and France, which led to Qatar in the first place.

It would have been highly unusual if England had won it!
