Would have been nice to challenge for top 4 this season but it’s not going to happen when you are playing catch-up every game. It was always going to happen that we concede first and today is the day that we don’t come back. Expect more of this sort of game when are soft at the back, clueless in midfield and our £85M centre forward continues to not hit a cow’s arse with a banjo….

Ali for me, would of probably been worse without him in goal.

Being as diplomatic as possible, I really hope Nunez develops in to the player that it’s hoped he will. But in the present he is nowhere near the finished article. His finishing is woeful especially running through on goal with little pressure. There are so many parts of this squad that need a revamp it’s scary.

It's a doddle to score against us...and we can't hit a barn door....Sad times with some very serious work to be done. The new lad must be thinking what  have I done?

The first half was shambolic.

Since our first game of the season, our play has not changed. Teams go through our midfield and defense like butter. Injuries have hurts us, but god, we are awful right now.

Not too sure if a CL spot this season.

That was just one team playing better than the other team


Brentford deserved the win even if we gave them a helping hand


Everyone will once again point to signings , midfield, Henderson , Ox etc but none of that was the reason we lost
