      Pre-Match: Liverpool v Wolves -- FA Cup
      Jan 06, 2023 01:56:16 pm
It's become a bit toxic in most of the threads, so I wanted something to look forward to.  We are the trophy holders, so I'm hoping we put out a strong lineup for this.  I'm desperate for Gakpo to start and I want to see Nunez get on the scoresheet.  Aside from that, just win.

Klopp's hinted we will go strong with the January fixtures looking quite light for us and a week between this and our next league match. I don't think we will see any of the kids apart from Bajcetic from the start.

Don't think we will see Doak, Ramsey or Gakpo from the start, subs I reckon.

I'd like to see Robbo captian, Fabinho in the MF, and Nunez start. They will play a altered side l, as they played 2 days ago and have a big League Cup game on Wednesday.

Nunez can find some confidence in this game

Would there be anything wrong with giving Trent a runout in midfield for this game. I was never in favor of all of the noise about playing him in midfield, but as our midfield struggles have increases, I figure why the hell not give it a go for a game or two just to see if there's anything there? I know it won't happen though.

I said that in a different thread.
Would be interesting to see him in an advanced role

Henderson is available, back from concussion. I expect he will be in from the start.

Jürgen said there's no reason to play a youth-heavy lineup since there is a full week after this game five days beforehand.

      NB: Team no longer available

I would rest Robertson, Matip, Becker and Thiago. I would drop Salah and AOC to the bench.

I would introduce Carvalho, Salah, AOC and Thiago if needed.

Gakpo to assist on his debut to Nunez ;)

Unless there’s a knock can’t see Salah sitting this out , this team needs a good win to get back into kilter

I would love to see Nunez score a couple, simply to shut the critics up. Going for a 2  1 win for the Reds. Game on ITV 4 kick off 8pm.

Not writing off the Champions league but the F.A. Cup is the most likely route to a trophy this season. Nunez to grab a brace tonight.

We played them in the cup a few years ago didn't we, absolutely dreadful boring 0-0 as I recall. Wolves have become quite a boring team recently. Expecting nothing less than a hat-trick from Nunez, perfect game to find your shooting boots lad.

The only chance of a trophy. Let’s hope we only pick up 1 injury instead of the normal 3
