Nah its been handled well apparently pal. We definitely do not look silly at all.

I feel like we do. We've bidded for a player that didn't want us then left our bid in for days hoping another team, known for doing whatever they want, won't come and bid for him. At the same time we were in the middle of bidding for another player who we just went missing on putting all our eggs in one basket. We now are stood with nothing

2 chaotic clubs acting chaotically on and off the pitch.

One buying anything and anyone it sees in the hope some of the sh*t will stick the other carefully and methodically missing out on key targets.

The window started off really promising, too.

Not sure what's gone wrong but this entire saga has been a clown show for us.

All we did with this bid is 1) make ourselves look silly by not doing the due dill 2) piss off Southampton and Lavia who must have felt unwanted by us as we were haggling over ÂŁ4M for before switching target and 3) show every club that we have a lot of money to spend.

You almost have to laugh at us it's so bad.

Rowan Atkinson would be proud to produce such a slapstick disasterclass.

      That’s a silly take

The club did it’s due diligence. Caecido said he was interested in joining us that’s why we bid in the first place

Don't so much mind this one given the fee and the player deciding not to join. I think we could use the money to much greater effect and wouldn't want someone who prefers to join that lot in any case.

Ahh sorry not seen that story the only story I seen was him refusing to come to Liverpool to fulfil a medical saying he only wanted Chelsea.

Played out in real life with the physical evidence of him not coming to Liverpool to complete a medical and instead signing for Chelsea.

We will never know of course but the reports were that we got assurances from one of his “representatives” that he would join us.

What I believe that really means is, his agent wanted a much higher fee and knew if we bid high, Chelsea would come in ultimately higher and the agents cut would be huge.

So we got played a bit and now we’ve ended up with no one (at this time). So much for JWH coming over to go toe to toe with Boehly. So much for FFP meaning anything whatsoever.

Praying that our transfer people have some sort of plan that actually involves buying a couple players and not an excuse we’ve all heard before “we tried but we just couldn’t get the deal done, when Thiago and Bajcetic are healthy they will be like new signings”

That one point doesn’t feel as ok now as it did a few hours ago.

Now she is just repeating what several others have been saying for the past 2 days.

What's this about 8 years despite the rule change?

Looks like his agent used us to dredge more money out of Chelsea or something.

Unlike us to go for a player who wasn't really keen on us in the first place and maybe another example of our transfer strategy not being as polished as it was when Michael Edwards was running the show.

Looks like we need to find some more players with release clauses. We don’t do too bad getting those deals done.

Given his age and experience he was a massive risk at ÂŁ111M., personally I feel he's way overrated.....Anyway at least it's all over with...Good luck to the sh*tty arsed F**k.
