As soon as Elliot came on I knew it would be a ride.

Don’t blame the kid but the way the club have let this midfield age it’s a travesty, Klopp included.

Klopp needs to quit acting like we aren't a sinking ship and throw a fit. Outside of  the new singing and Robbo, TAA, Salah and Ali, the lot that played today aren't first team players. We don't need a midfield, we mostly need a new team.

      Hendo is old and slow
      Thiago is old and slow
Fabinho is slow and a shell of his old self.
Ox is injury prone and not good enough
      Milner is old and slow
      Kieta can't be relied upon.
      Jones is a young Kieta
Elliot is too small at this point in time. Slow too
      Gomez isn't good enough

Salah can't beat anyone off the dribble and keeps the ball far too long at his feet.

Please no more interviews where we hear we're just in a bad way. We're not, we're a bad team. It happened. Regroup, rebuild, and come again. But the club needa to address there's a problem before we cab fix it

Wolves created more chances tonight than the whole season put together I think 🤣🤣
      That’s the Liverpool effect.

      Struggling for goals?

Then head on down to Anfield.

We don't have fluidity anymore, there is no continuity in any of our play. When we open sides up and catch them out we have players checking back inside, killing the momentum of the move and allowing the opposition to get back into formation.

We are a rancid mess. If Liverpool Football Club was a horse it would be shot, it has run its last race. This team is going nowhere fast.

Spend ÂŁ10 million plus per Season and this is where you end up. It doesn't matter how great your manager is, no mortal man can keep performing miracles. Make no mistake, Klopp is pissed off! Make no mistake about this, if FSG don't F**k off soon then Klopp will leave of his own accord. He doesn't deserve to be treated like this.

The only answer to solve this problem is for Klopp to totally change the system and principles. This group don't have the energy to play the Gegenpress Heavy Metal Football. Let's be fair though, why should any manager have to go against every principle that has brought them the success they have achieved, just to appease his employers?

No manager should have to sacrifice his principles and beliefs, most definitely not our manager.

Tough times ahead unless the owners go out and get a central midfielder or two this window. Tough times it is then.

We've been through harder times than this, head down and graft.

Klopp needs to earn his crust now.
The squad is way better than what he’s getting out of it.

He needs to either drop the players who have been off form for the best part of a year or find a new system that makes us hard to beat.

Keeping things the same is not an option.

We were 2 years younger then and about 10,000 less miles on our legs. I agree with a lot of what you say, but you have to see the writing on the wall. If you play that midfield each week, you're fu**ed mate

Never offside their winner you know. Even with the lack of cameras you can figure it out from the little dot in the corner that appears just after the wolves player heads it back to the corner taker.

We are very lucky today, but above all a very poor team. Said it when we beat Leicester, lost to Brentford and now drawn to Wolves.

We are utterly pathetic right now.

I’d change the line up for the next few games.

      Kelleher
      TAA
      Robertson
      Phillips
      Gomez

      Bajcetic
      Henderson
      Keita

      Nunez
      Cavalho
      Doak

The players aren't the problem it's the tactics, we're far to predictable and so easy to play against, lots of other teams have supposedly inferior players but we make them look world beaters

That’s the players we have - unless someone leaves we can’t bring anyone in ( unless they are homegrown ) - it’s going to be battle and Klopp needs to get them up for the battle

He can yell and scream all he wants, but if he sends this lot out and ask them to press heavy, plays a high line, and uses a 4-3-3, we will miss Europe and be bounced from every competition.

Not even sure what our tactics are these days apart from pass the ball slowly and wait for about 7 players ahead of the ball then pass it back for one of th4 defenders to lump it forward.

Really wish commentators would ask Klopp what the actual tactics we are playing.

Very lucky not to get beat, still not sure why their 3rd goal was disallowed.
Poor from Alison for both goals, poor night from him.
Don't know how many shots their keeper saved, but it didn't seem like many.
Thought when Elliiot and Keita came on they were able to play through us completely, not that we were very good in the middle before that.
Gakpo, did OK I guess for a 1st game, though didn't have much impact.
Highlight of the night, my daughter asking who 'Dork' was.  It's Doak I told her !!  The A did look a bit like an R :)  thought he did decent when he came on.

On the positive side, we didn't loose.

Am not gonna get upset by performances like these, cause expect a fair few more this season, some we might nick the game, some will get whats coming.

Klopp more or less admitting they played through us. The club through their analysts know who's not pulling their weight. Point is - what will they do about it..

      we need a huge overhaul

It’s not just about players. Tactics plays a big part. Doesn’t matter what style of team we play, our shape and pattern of play is always the same.
Down the line, heave in to the box where we are outnumbered, recover the ball and repeat.
We could have the best midfield on the planet. When the ball gets hit through the gaps or over the top, where  the opposition has an open acre to run into. The midfield count for nothing, as at that point they are out of the game.
We play high intensity football, across the back, up the line, back down the line across the halfway line, up the other line, back down, and repeat.
Trent occasionally putting a cross in.
Shocking, tactics which never change whoever we put on the field.

Painful watching Matheus Nunes make mince meat of Liverpool’s midfield there knowing Liverpool actively chose not to sign him last summer because they only wanted “the right player”…before signing Arthur Melo on loan deadline day.
