      Wolves were pretty toothless there.

But very happy with that tonight in terms of energy, organisation, attitude, pressing etc.

First half very good. 2nd half not so much but we did enough. We really need some fit forwards.

Bajcetic and Elliott very good. I thought keita had a good game too.

Milner was excellent at right back just like he was against city. I wouldn't be rushing back to trent I'm afraid. Nor hendo or fabinho. See what happens for Chelsea.

Always nice to get a clean sheet as well.

      Well done reds. Much better.

Is right! Great from the youngsters... Bajcetic, get him in the first team and Elliot has already been one of the most consistent players for us all season so, really cool he got that top goal, special one. Keita is like a ghost, always in a space where the ball isn't, walking around like a divvy, but seems to have a knack for being in games when we win I think, hasn't he got good stats for that, when he actually starts and isn't injured.
       Well done :D

Good we won to stop the downward spiral. Overall we still play a bad ball. Obviously Klopp has given up our high line play. We play now like Atletico, just with an impotent forward game. The only positives besides the win today: Bajectic and Dork. Both looked strong and sharp. I'd give them more chances, also in PL games.

      p.s. I just watched the 2nd half.

Someone who has never let Liverpool down is Kelleher.  Could quite easily be a Premier League keeper.

Ben Doak another little cameo. At the end there he was our most composed player.

Back to the walls, back to basics. A platform to build from that performance.

A couple of writers said they were reminded of Rooney when he was that age. Strong, powerful and technically gifted. Obviously he's got a way to go before he gets to Rooney's level but I see no harm in giving Ben a Premier League start soon enough. We need that untamed, spontaneous aggression.

Don't want to lose him. If he wants first team football maybe look at a 2 year loan. He's a superb keeper.

Bit harsh tho. Thought Konate had a good game, so did Keita. Elliot was good without the goal too.

Thiago looked better today then he has been in last couple of games. Dont think any of our players were poor tonight. Mistakes here and there but overall good team performance imo.

Luis Suarez definitely in that front three.

I remember reading somewhere he was looking for options to move out, and I totally get it. He would be starting in a number of premier league teams no doubt.

I'd be sad to see him go, but he's very good. Probably too good to be a permanent n°2.

He's been out injured for a little bit, but is steadily growing into an important role with this team.

Bajcetic doesn't panic in possession and when he gets a bit more upper strength he'll be the finished article.. Away to Brighton next...revenge is dish best served cold..

Best win % of any current player must be a fluke eh no way a divvy would get away with that record

Much better energy throughout the team. Deserved the win and Wolves were pretty duff. Harvey MoM for me just for that stonker of a goal.

I'd start Bajcetic and Elliott at the weekend.  Doak's doing enough to keep himself in the matchday squad.

Much improved performance esp up till the late subs.

Still look very disjointed going forward but baby steps as they say.

Some of the senior players left out of the starting team tonight really need to have a look at themselves.

I gave MOM to Bajcetic, he was always looking for the ball and very good positional play for such a young lad.
Elliot and Konate also played well. Elliot to play at RF against Chelsea with Mo at CF? Konate must now be the first choice CB.
Keita also looked good, him and Thiago are a good combination in the centre, so frustrated for him that he can't stay fit.

I'd start Bajcetic and Elliott at the weekend.  Doak's doing enough to keep himself in the matchday squad.

I expect Konate and Thiago to start Saturday, and maybe Elliott and Gakpo. Seven to nine changes is my guess.

Bajcetic is on a great path, for sure. Doak as well.

Emotionally speaking, a win changes everything.
