Liverpool have notoriously kicked towards the Kop in the second half.
When opposition teams they adopt one of two standpoints.
a) 'We're not scared of Liverpool. They can kick towards the Kop in the second half'
b) 'We're sh*t scared of Liverpool. Any psychological advantage will be a bonus. Let's make them kick towards the Kop in the first half.'
Not noticed too many teams adopting strategy b of late but Bolton did today.
Here's a warning to anyone else thinking of doing the same.
