He is a young talented player who has suffered a bit through injuries over the last 18 months which has affected him but we have to give him a chance

Not that confident going into this but surely with Gakpo, Nunez and Salah up front we should be scoring goals, also we are due a penalty not had one for 28 games.

He has shown nothing that he is a elite level midfielder, fine if he stays around as a squad player but he won’t be a starter next season assuming the club are serious about being contenders!

I've seen nothing to think if we went to a Norwich, Blackburn, Cardiff or Reading that he'd be some dominant player or even a regular starter, let alone a Premier League team. He fulfills one of the home grown slots needed to field a full squad under league and UEFA rules.

Which is why I think a loan deal will be good for him. Get him game time and experience. He needs more minutes than he’s currently getting.

And what if they're not. They haven't exactly flew out the blocks the game after any of our awful perfirmances this season.

this is the right game at the right time for us we have lacked some umph for some time now the crowd will be 100% up for this and will get behind the lads a big win coming our way.

One things for sure, if the players don’t show up for this one, then there’s no answer to the current issues, and I’ll be even more worried.

I want to see every player giving 110% and not giving those ugly feckers a moments peace. Anyone who doesn’t give everything against that sorry lot shouldn’t be here.
