Just watched all the clips of Coady on Robertson. What an utter disgraceful and pathetic "red". Grabbing Robertson's neck and screaming F Off right into his face. He is nothing to us, and he shows that he hates our club. He's a blue.

Hope they give him hell in Liverpool.

Reading some of the posts it seems I watched a different game

Thought the lads that some have hammered over the weeks had good games - Gomez , TAA , Fabinho and Henderson

Couple of early ropey moments but the three in the middle controlled the game and the movement of the front three was very good

Gakpo starting to drop a bit deeper to pick up the ball then turn and go at players was very good

      Some big players coming back

CL spot well up for grabs

Well that has to be the best we've played for a long time I think, everyone played their part tonight in that superb victory from the fans who were fantastic to JĂŒrgen and all the players who ran their socks off and played their hearts out, good work lads, well done, proud of you.

Now let's kick on from this and smash them barcodes into oblivion at the weekend !!

Not saying Coady is innocent, far from it, just saying he's fully committed in a Derby match. Don't think Robbo was too upset or put out by it..seemed to be enjoying himself.

I'm from Bootle and nobody in Liverpool would expect anything less from a local lad in a Derby match regardless of what colour their shirt is.
No big deal but can't stand him soz, I've seen too many things with him and his cocky interviews, I'm not from Bootle but am from Liverpool and can't stand people like him, give someone like that money above anything anyone in normal life would earn too, don't like him heh, I did when he went on to be good at Wolves, I was made up for him then I saw his attitude, not my cup of tea. All for the cameras and Everton fans to take him as an Everton player that tonight as well. It was out of nowhere proper you don't need to be a lip reader to know what he was saying, and Robbo vs Pickford was a little haha kicked the ball slightly away, wow Liverpool wasting 10 seconds of time when you have Everton diving every game trying to stop tempo all the time with throw ins or whatever, come on man, Coady tried to make that a pivotable I am Everton guy moment, so cringy.

A hell of a lot better performance tonight, Hendo and Bajcetic were superb in midfield. Finally got to see what Gakpo's about, a lot more assured performance. Nunez was superb too pressing the sh*te and the run and pass for Salah's goal was superb. Pickford making himself look a c**t again!

They're absolutely dogshit, about time they were relegated.

A lot more smiling faces leaving Anfield tonight 8)

Thought the biggest difference on the park tonight was we weren't giving the ball away nearly every time we touched it. Keep the ball like that and we have the chance to perform very well. Much bigger challenge this weekend but emotionally tonight will be a big lift, and of course it's great to have some of our top players making their way back into the squad.

What a difference a game makes!

This kind of result in the next two games and we would all start thinking what was all the doom and gloom.

Important to build on this result and not let it fritter away like we did in January.

Went me dad's for the 2nd half.

Rome wasn't built in a day. Lots of positives tonight. As others have said, a win ... a clean sheet, returning players on the bench.

I thought we looked much more solid tonight. There wasn't much infront of us to beat. But the job still needs to be done and it was done well.

It's a confidence game and you could see some confidence coming back. Our intensity was much better and we competed which was the foundation of the 3 points. Let's enjoy that. An excellent win.

Some tough games coming up. Newcastle up next so hopefully we can get a good week of preparation and build on this.

We once took 3 points as a given as we were winning most weeks. It was the norm. It felt nice to get home last night and wake up for work this morning feeling more positive.

Well done redmen and onto Saturday we go.

A few observations: when the RIGHT SIDE trio works : TAA-Henderson-Salah, the team does much better. I really think our issue has been that these dynamics have been unable to find their form and former connection. On the left, it's worse since there's no starter upfront yet.

When the midfield works, the team does well. It's not difficult to see. And I really think Thiago is very often more a liability than not.

I have had a serious observation: we score mostly on counter-attacks. And it's an issue because not all teams will allow us to play like that. Whenever a bus “parks the bus”, we're screwed.

Brilliant counter attacking but we were good on possession too.

We need to have the same willingness in every match.

Being able to keep the ball is a great boost to the defense.  Being able to turn their chance into our chance/goal (in 13 seconds, like) also helps us defensively, discouraging them from going forward.

Now need to do it against a good team.

Some players returning from injury at the end of the game and beating the blues. For 5 days at least the world is rosy again.

Well he is nothing to do with us but I doubt he hates the club that progressed him to a premier league footballer.

Yesterday he looked out of his depth and angry about it.

Once Everton has touched you and all that
