There's no doubt (despite what the Amino Acid non supporter says) RM have some quality. I know we have made them look good in parts but my worst fears were realised right at the start of the second half. A masterclass from them and oh how I detest that gum chewing ex Bluesh*te manager
Be glad when the final whistle blows

Ancelotti has been the best manager around for a long time. Everyone deserves forgiveness after a moment of madness.
How we come back from this is hard to say. Future signings such as Bellingham can easily be disregarded now, no way he’s coming here when Madrid, City etc will be offering huge salary incentives.

3 finals in 5 years it could be 50 years before we get to another one the way the league is now financed

You could call it a wake up call if you thought it would wake the club up.

John W says Fenway are not looking to sell. This club needs huge investment on a scale they have never managed to provide so far.

We are in big trouble. I'm not sure enough people get  how deep that trouble is if we don't react in the market this summer on a grand scale. The forward line and the keeper can probably be left alone. The rest of the pitch needs a total over haul.

So now Keita and Elliott are sh*t

Go put on your apron and plant some bushes

Imagine taking all of that effort to go dig through a bunch of posts to try and defend you slagging off the manager. Get a grip kiddo.

The evening started off great, gradually got worse and ended up as completely soul destroying! I have no hope for the rest of this season, and I feel ashamed to say that, but the hope has been literally sucked out of me. This Club means the World to me, but at the moment it’s killing me and I don’t think I can cope!

Grim that! 2-0 up and we literally started playing at their pace, once Madrid got the first they then controlled the game and battered us.

I mean we can blame the mistakes, lack of energy, formation and so on.

But for me its down to the huge gap between the quality of players.

I always remember in times like these what it was like in the 90s.

Personally I wouldn’t mind is in the Europa league or conference league next season. Would be good minutes for doak and Kelleher and other kids plus it will mean the main guns can be rested  mid week.

For me we need a new centre back and two new central midfielders. Build from that.

Yeah once Madrid got going there was only one CL quality team on the pitch.

      Just a staggering game

2 up and playing well , looking comfortable on and off the ball , even when they scored the first it looked ok but the error from Alisson before half time just turned the game

Came out in the second half and it was a different Madrid , clinical 5 goals from 6 shots I think it was.

Can’t drop the level that much against Madrid - they will just crucify you and that’s what they did. Just have to hold your hands up - going to be tough for anyone to beat them

We have had some miracles before to come back and beat the odds and unlike some will always have belief we can produce something special once again.

What you should do is get the FSG out the f**king the club..
Aminegriffy, I respect your view. What would be your perfect type of owners, would it be owners who could bring a manager like Jürgen Klopp to Liverpool, owners who could be in charge and win every trophy there is to win. Owners who could build two state of the art stands.

What would be your perfect type of owner of a football club, and if it's money orientated then what method would the new owners have gained their wealth?

An embarrassingly sh*t capitulation. Can't believe how much we've regressed since Paris. It's clear now that we had squeezed absolutely everything out of the squad up to that point. The engine has now finally seized up and nothing but a rebuild will fix it.
