What happened to Nunez? He was playing his best football for us.

      Come on Reds.

      We need to win this!

Mightily disappointing not seeing Nunez starting. Been our best player recently.

Hopefully he can be back in midweek. Chance for Jota. I thought Bajcetic would get a break, but I also though Virgil would.

Big question about the midfield of Hendo, Milner and Naby - so let's see them give some convincing answers today. Come on Everybody!!!

Not much choice re Virgil unless you want to see Rhts Williams as no Gomez, Ibou or Phillips really has been a joke reg injuries everywhere on the pitch bar Ali

I’d be looking at Jones and Elliott first over Naby who’s off in the summer and Milly who’s 37 myself but it is what it is.

Hope there’s enough there to get three points but do fear for us tonight.

Disappointing re Nunez but good to see Jota - providing he has his shooting boots on.
Not a lot of pace in that midfield either but if they manage to play together as a unit it'll be a bonus!

Fabinho and Gomez dropped for being sh*te.  Bajcetic has been pushed a bit too hard recently so can see that one.  Nunez out with a knock.

Lot of creativity resting on Keita's shoulders in that midfield.  Henderson will probably make it to 60 minutes.  Do your stuff reds.

Nice to see Gomez being rested for the Real Madrid 2nd leg.

Need to go out there with a super strong performance so they can convince themselves that it is somehow possible to beat Real by 4 goals.. or if not, just win.

Though rotation is required I didn’t expect Nunez to be one of those making way, it’s a good thing of course and although some will feel disappointment that he’s out it gives a chance for Jota to make his mark and give Jürgen some chin rubbing decisions, young Bajc too needed resting, we can’t afford to burn him out he’s still only 18 and over exposure could do more harm than good,

Slightly surprised that Milner & Hendo share the same pitch at the same time, thought maybe Fabinho as the Six, and Hendo sub, and Naby has yet another chance to shine, the jury has been out for months now and we’ve yet to see him at his best, his days here are numbered for sure but the better he plays the more dollar we’ll get for him,

Think Jürgen has the balance right, and apart from Joel rather Ibou I’m reasonably confident we can grab all 3points,,love Jota to fire in two or more and get him up and running, a win takes us within 4 of the top 4 with a game in hand, so vitally important we do exactly that !!

      0-3 Mighty Redmen

Might've had an injection for the Real game but yer don't want too many of them, so sits this out.
