1 pt, didn't lose, no conceding goals, could have even won with Gakpo being clinical. Could be definitely worse, but then something stinks in this team, but no idea what precisely it is. If one watches the game it looks like 2 years ago, just a lack of chances, it must be little things.

I say it every game but it’s sad seeing how far some of these players have declined in such a short space of time. Not just physical attributes, but things like passing accuracy, shooting, crossing, anticipation, reading the play. It’s genuinely sad to watch so many players that will be considered club legends either now or in the future declining so quickly. Fabinho is the big one. Brilliant defensive mid but his legs have gone. Klopp needs to be backed fully in the summer otherwise it’s pointless having him here. The way he plays you need to go all in for his targets and I think by neglecting to back him over the last couple of summers we are seeing how that reflects on the pitch. We will be back, we just have to treat this season as a blip.

I did think we’d win this comfortably.
Clearly no press, no attempted dribbles past opposition in midfield, continued back passes, never won a 50-50 or second balls. No cohesion up front, and midfield couldn’t pass water at the moment.

Bajcetic our best player of recent games gets 10 mins.

Harvey the most energetic with the most effort gets 15 mins.
