Take that all day long despite being sh*te for large spells of it. Thought Virgil was excellent in all aspects tonight.

Scary how many gears we need to find before Sunday though.

      Well played reds!

Gotta say Darwin is my favourite player right now, it might not always work for him but he is always giving 110% to make something happen.

Three points, clean sheet, looking a bit better than previous. Happy with that little bit of progress.

Wolves thought they were gonna turn us over, but offered little apart from the silly balls we passed to them.

So all the doubters F**k off, we are on the mend, even though it’s a slow progress.

Opened my first beer since the 31st January at half time so I'm taking some of the credit for this win.

Just don't write a book about it. Some on here might get a bit uptight!  ;D

Didn’t think any ex Liverpool player could annoy more than carragher when commentating, but warnock did tonight

I still couldn't believe he said that he could tell we were going to decline when we beat Wolves 3-1 on the final day of last season?! What a F***ing c**t.

Not going to be doing cartwheels just yet (god if only I could stand up on my legs never mind my hands!  :D)
BUT - 3 priceless points, another clean sheet, Virg being Virg, Nunez causing chaos, Jota coming back to full fitness, Baj a little star (again), and a goal from the Egyptian King.
Not too bad considering how crap we've been. Still not confident of Top 4 either but a good run would be brilliant.
Hoping that the real Liverpool will come to the party against the Mancs.

Another step in the right direction.

A fourth consecutive clean sheet in the League, which is even more impressive when you consider we'd only had 4 League clean sheets in the opening 20 games. Another goal for Mo. Another good run out for those coming back from injuries. And the best performance all season from Fabinho.

We never really looked troubled by them.

All in all a good win for the Reds tonight.

Great result. Nunez, Elliott, TAA, and VVD shined. Best we've looked defensively in 23, but they do stink offensively.

Gakpo showing signs of being able to fill Bobby's shoes. That link up goal looked like one right out of 2017.

      Xg Liverpool 2.7 v 0.79 Wolves

Can’t remember them having an effort unless I had gone for a beer.

As expected we look much better at the back with Konate and VVD.

Kostas should have played more games this season ( he was pretty sh*te for most of the game tbf), Robbo should have had a greater respite.

Signs of life in Fabinho but he will face more than a team set up to get a draw.

Still no evidence that Elliot is a midfielder

I can enjoy my ale tonight ☺️

Didn't hear, or watch the game so can't comment on it. The 3 points are a real tonic, it's such a relief....Wouldn't it be dandy if we can kick Man U's arses and get another 3.

Only saw from about the half hour mark on but thought that it was a pretty good performance. Apart from that slip by Konate in the 2nd half that we were lucky the inept Paul Tierney gave as a foul, we defended well as a team and limited them to almost nothing.

We had good energy in the 2nd half. Pressed well from the front - Jota really helps with this, he is a nuisance for defenders - and put them under plenty of pressure. Jota, Nunez, Kostas, Trent and Virgil all had good games. Fab was decent, better than he has been. Harvey was struggling by end of the first half but kept going and did ok second. Good team performance under a fair bit of pressure. Encouraged by the energy levels.
