Pre-Match: Bournemouth v Liverpool, Premier League; Sat 11th March. 12:30

So as we've basked this week in the glory of Sunday's famous 7-0 win over Man United (and it WAS glorious even in context of this club's great history), each of us have probably had the mitigating though cross our mind that it would be such a shame to follow that result up by dropping points against relegation battlers Bournemouth. It would also seem hugely deflating to do that given the team's improvement in form of late, their return to a proper top-four battle, and having beaten these 9-0 at Anfield early in the season.

All of which points to what Jürgen is no doubt repeating to the group all week: For the upcoming 90 minutes, last week will mean nothing. There is no room for complacency, feeling entitled or just plain old overconfidence. Can't have it.

Champions League return match follows this one, but I sense Jürgen is putting a much greater priority on the league match. You'd reflexively say no changes from a team that performed well, but we'll see if there is a tweak or two.

      Let's keep it rolling boys.

We're almost a full team now. The team seem at the best state of this season. I'm confident of the win.

Only possible change I see is Bajetic coming in  but likely will stick to same side and why not. Really do not want after the Lords mayor show here we simply cannot lose any points here in regards top4 and the stick we will get after what we have dished out this last week

Would take a 1-0 all day long.  The improvements in defending has been welcome.  No harm for the three lads getting two goals each as well last weekend.  Should make them that bit more confident in front of goal.

Hopefully they will have analysed how Bournemouth found themselves leading Arsenal 2-0 last weekend.

Away form has not been great this season - just one win against the bottom half of the table away from home.

If our six game run comes to a shuddering halt then at least it's bad news for Everton.  I do expect us to win though.

      9-0, 7-0, 1-0, whatever it’s still 3points,

I can see all the neg heads berating about how we should go to the Vitality and demand we hand out another thrashing, I guess it’s possible but it’s also possible B’Mouth could do us and catch us with our pants down bent over & lubed, getting bummed by anyone is unlikely let alone little old B’Mouth, of course this season on occasion we’ve been left with a sore arse courtesy of Brentford, Fulham & Leeds so nothing can be taken for granted,

Never change a winning team they saying goes but that’s old hat for me and you make the necessary adjustments to whichever opponent you play, B’Mouth may set up differently from the what the MUtants did so Jürgen will adjust accordingly, and I think he will,

We won’t be seeing 4/5 changes probably one or two, …….possibly thus….

                                                                           Allison
                                                            Trent  Konate Virgil  Robbo
                                                                 Fabinho     Bacjetic
                                                                          Gakpo
                                                                 Salah    Jota   Nunez

Bench ; Kelleher, Kostas, Gomez, Milner Hendo, Elliot, Bobby, Carv, Diaz

Really can’t see the ‘Mouth’ posing too many problems and I can’t see us banging nine past them, Gary O has them playing decent stuff and are better organised so I’m expecting a tough battle with our quality proving the difference.

Just win.. Any score line would do.
We need to keep the momentum going for Top 4 as our next 4 games after this are as tough as they can get (Madrid away, City away, Chavs away, Arse home).

      Hau..

Yes need to go on the warpath. Our pace again will be the diff. On the Nunez front Klopp has to find a way to fire him up. In neutral he's fairly tame, wind him up, let him off the leash and he's a warrior....( or 'Crazy Horse).... He hasn't got the Kop to wind him up so klopp has to provoke him just enough to get his blood pumping.

Not going to lie, this is going to be a tricky match. I'd take a 7-0 win right now.

Edit: That comes across as a bit arrogant. Hope it doesn't come back to bite me on me bum.

Win this game and bag another three points, certainly should plenty of confidence, after Sunday's result.

Obviously expect us to win this. Key is to keep up the recent improvement in our defending. Our attack is looking really dangerous, feels like we will score goals, just keep it tight at the back and minimise the stupid mistakes.

Not expecting any changes.  Week off so unless some injury/illness you have to play the same team after last week.
