How can a team that smashed Man U become so useless against a team at the bottom of the League?

Complacency mate! No heart and no fight left in a lot of this squad. Jurgens doesn’t like that either so can see some big changes coming if they don’t pull their fingers out their arses

We lost the midfield battle in all the games we have lost to the dross this season.
      Simple game footie really

So what was that starting midfield today 🤨

“ I was calm, we had them under control really. I didn’t think they’d score”

      Says it all.

What's there to say, beat by relegation fodder. Gotta hold hands up.

Not going to bother with the players today, VVD and Mo know they've not had their best day.

Manager though needs to hold his hands up.
Starting Elliot and Bajcetic, didn't show enough respect to Bournemouth who are scrapping for points. Bajcetic looked wrecked in the final 1/4, gave the ball away a lot. Again and again, if you don't have two from Hendo/Fab/Thiago, you miss control and leadership in games where you need to dig in.
Thought Salah should've gone and not Nunez, Mo did precious little today. 350K should buy you hitting the target from the spot, make the keeper work. Think he made 1 save in 2nd half?
Jota did well when he came on, won the peno.

The slow bicycle race for 4th goes on...

I don’t think I’ve ever felt this bad about result.

A real eye opener wasn't it.

Absolute stonewall 100% confirmation of how we've gone from a group of mentality monsters to a group of utter cowards.

Kick the ball slowest speed imaginable, giving opponents time to read a book or have a sandwich, that was the worst pace of football you could see in any league, even Italian, playing slower football than the Italian league in the prem league! What the absolute F**k is going on with our club? Worse than Hodgson football this year, so many games I've thought I wouldn't mind that much losing if we actually played good football, we are sh*te, I had to turn off my support this season in terms of letting results make me sad because the players so obviously don't give two shits so why should I. Struggling to make ends meet while these rich plebs swan around and can't even pass a ball. I know for a fact I'm a better passer of a ball than most of that team, including the captain who has always been a terrible passer. No respect from me to that fake team.

These players will still get paid after this sh*t performance?

      This is absolute madness.

Absolutely bang on, please tell me you saw what I thought was Mo laughing after he’d missed then a little shake of his head

I thought exactly the same after the above, Mo thinking yeah okay I missed but I got x amount of zeros for kicking it 😂

We could lose 12-0 and JĂŒrgen would say the same thing.

The bollockings always happen behind closed doors but I'm worried the players don't even listen anymore when you see so many away performances like that in one season.

TAA also has a lot of questions: he clearly can’t defend and will probably not get much better in that department.
We either play him in a different position or keep playing him at right back where he can’t do the basics.

No team has lost a PL game 9-0 & then lost their next game vs the same opponent:

      ◉ Man Utd 9-0 Ipswich
      ◎ Ipswich 1-1 Man Utd

      ◉ Saints 0-9 Leicester
      ◎ Leicester 1-2 Saints

      ◉ Man Utd 9-0 Saints
      ◎ Saints 1-1 Man Utd

      ◉ Liverpool 9-0 Bournemouth
      ◎ Bournemouth 1-0 Liverpool

A draw would have sufficed though.

There will be opinions for how and why all over the place but there's one indisputable cast iron fact: There is no way Any Liverpool team should be getting beat by That Bournemouth side. No excuses, and OK anyone can miss a pen, but at one - nil down you HAVE to hit the target.

Fluffy players, Mo Salah little fluff chips all the time that never work but he still does it. Fluffy VVD ball watching trying to always act cool, get stuck in ffs when have you ever seen VVD get stuck in? He always just stands there and is big enough that it usually works in his favor that he heads the ball away or whatever. Midfield, look at that midfield and sniff your net spend all year long. Robbo, when was the last time he provided anything in attack other than always 2000 minutes this year wasting the ball. No creativity at all, nothing. No number 10, sniff that net spend you Boston bimbos, and snort your cigars, never show your face at Anfield.
Fluffball, that's what we play now, heavy metal football? Berty Basset football, this season is an insult, the football is the worst I've ever seen us play under any manager.

We all know it and have been saying it for a while...But the only one who can make that call doesn't see it....So we're stuck with it.

Started quite well, energetic and good in attack ....then it went flat ! Would have kept Nunez on because he gives us that edge in attack ,midfield just died away didn't it ? that is where we miss the control that Thiago gives us ,Elliott great at attacking and supporting Mo but there was a lack of supply to Nunez ,only Gakpo feeding him scraps ...and then there's the penalty miss  :f_wah: :f_wah:
