What do you mean with bounce back? You think this team will score 3 or 4 against Real without conceding a single goal at the Bernabéu?

The target should be to not get humiliated like United did against us. I have no joy looking at this game. Instead of playing this game I would rather like to skip it and save the pain and suffering.

Sorry I meant a decent performance maybe a draw or narrow defeat. Certainly not another hammering like in the second half at Anfield. Anyhow have a good day !

Let's not kid ourselves, an early goal and we will all be believers again, it's Liverpool we never know when to quit (except when its against sh*t teams).

The midfield problem will stymie our progress for probably the rest of the season. Fabinho,Bajcetic and Elliott looked decent but just didn't get a real grip after their goal.

May be he has to accept that the likes of Bajcetic and Elliott just don't have enough experience as we enter the home straight. Whatever way he cuts the cake throws up serious issues. Keita and the Ox are just 'on the books' untill they go at the end of the season.

Leaves Hendo, Fab, Milner, Jones and someone called Melo. Plus Thiago..when he's fit. Hendo can't play week in week out. Fabinho wants away..IMO....Milner is on a year by year deal and is backup. Melo will go back.

Next season our midfield squad: Bajcetic, Elliott and Jones...and one or two oldies.

Yesterday was utter sh*te and we should have no chance in Madrid but if one PL team can overturn its us...it shouldn't happen, it probably won't but I'm not giving up, its time someone slapped that old slag of a club down 😡
We don't just owe them one we owe them a few

Punished by Newcastle and Spurs. The price to pay for yesterday's disgraceful performance.

Jürgen and several key players legacy is untouchable here. What is happening this year is nowhere close to good enough. Our away form this year is totally unacceptable.

I hope that everyone including Jürgen is being made aware this season just isn't good enough. I hope Jürgen has honest conversations about the difficulties he has faced with the owners too.

There has to be a culture running throughout the club that this can't happen again.

Fenway, Jürgen, and a lot of big players can do better than this.

It will be a bit laughable if we make top 4 - I mean we have been awful for 75% of the season.

We are back to 6th position. 2 points behind Newcastle who have a game in hand, and six points behind Tottenham.

We are our own worst enemy.

Playing first at the weekend, shouldn't, but does allow the players to take their eye off the ball (excuse the pun)..Playing that fixture last night or today I think we push harder. An excuse which has no merit BTW.

It’s right. Even Arsenal winning it gets 5th in.

If City win C/L and Arsenal win the Europa thingy...their places in the C/L is "not transferable to another team". So we have to beat Spurs at home and no more screw up's.

If Mancheater U win the Europa thingy they will qualify for group stages of CL regardless of their league position. One of the reason for going at the EL seriously...gets a CL place.

If a top 4 wins FA cup or EFL cup then their Europa and UECL places are transferable to the highest place finishers. So we could still be lumbered with the feckin' Europa league or even worse the friggin' Europa conference bleedin' stupid cup thingy....

and If Foinavon wins the National Klopp has to enter for the high jump...or the pole vault

This is what I read…                             The Premier League can only send a maximum of five teams to the Champions League. In normal circumstances, the places will go to the teams who finish in the top four of the league but a fifth place will go to a side if they win either the Champions League or Europa League and do not finish in the top four.

Correct. United can qualify for CL if they win the Europa and finish outside the top 4. Their Europa cup place will go to the next highest, probably 6th place.
