ADIDAS pulled out all the stops when the new Liverpool kit was launched at Anfield this week.

Manager Rafa Benitez was joined by club captain Steven Gerrard, keeper Pepe Reina and midfield maestro Xabi Alonso who modelled the new home, goalkeeping and away strips.

But Adidas bosses may be regretting their decision to get Jamie Carragher to show off the new European away kit as he wore a pair of boots made by their biggest rivals, Puma!

good point relozells. did you also notice the fact that he looked bored on the picture of all 4 of them . i don;t think modelling a kit is what carra particularly looks forward too.

Could be worse, he could of worn Nike, at least Puma is another Kraut company.

So I can imagine adidas were well impressed!!
