Not for the first time we're faced with a club with a potential new manager bounce?

      Proper mid table clash this.

On the basis of that second half spineless display by us on Saturday I am not very confident.  We'll probably see Milner in for Henderson - exciting times!

No more excuses. Time for most of the players to pull their fingers out of their arses and at least give it 100%. If not for theirselves, do it  for Jürgen.

I am pretty buoyed by Jürgen hurting, him saying he should not be here except for the past is his way of saying to the players, F***ing sort this sh*t out....this cannot last.

I think we may see something of a turnaround at last.

I’d go with one of these two teams:

                       Ali
           Milner Matip VVD Tsimikas

                     Hendo   Fab
           Salah    Bobby   Gakpo
                         Nunez

Gakpo and Nunez to rotate with it becoming more of a a 442/424 at times. It’s very attacking but our midfield options are sh*t.

      Other option:

                       Ali
      Milner Matip VVD Tsimikas
                      Fab
                Hendo  Arthur
         Salah Bobby Nunez

No idea how fit Arthur is but our options are lacking. Bajcetic and Keita are both injured and Elliot can be poor away from home. Jones has barely played and the only other options are Ox and Milner. Wouldn’t be shocked if Milner plays in the middle, but that means Trent or Gomez at RB. Henderson doesn’t seem to manage two games a week these days, so maybe he will be left out, but I’d try and play him if possible.  Diaz will hopefully come on from the bench regardless of what side we put out.

      Ali....Gomez..Konate..VV D..Robbo....Hendo..Fabin ho..Milner....Mo..Galpo. .Nunez.

Has to make a decision on Trent. The ' performance' team must know he's not doing enough defensively. Got turned for Cities 4th but just didn't stay with Grealish..gave up once he got turned. It's coming to a head now, any decent wide player and he struggles.

Very flat footed as well as pacy players go past him, one v one very poor. On crosses, often get his position wrong and back post headers are now common place. Doesn't cut out enough crosses. Didn't get the support from Elliott but still his overall defensive work is very average at best.

Sacked him even tho they are in QF of C/L...V Real Madrid...in a week or so. Still don't know why they sacked Tuchel. Won the Champions league in '21 and finished 4th...3rd last season...and a few bad results this season and they sack him...

They sacked Tuchel because I suspect he stood up to Boehly and his ridiculous over spending on sh*t , and sh*t that Tuchel didn’t want

Reds let’s be honest, as bad as our season is going, at least we’re not Chelsea FC.

The revolving door for their managers is just laughable.

Apparently they sacked Potter early because their first choice  is Nagelsmann which Spurs also  want  according to my Sky man…

From the official site: On Diaz, the boss said: “No, he’s not available [to face Chelsea]. But he is in training, but he is not ready for this game. As much as we want him to be back, we still have to give him time.

“Obviously it was long ago that he had the initial injury but when he came back to training in Dubai, it looked outstanding until he got injured again. So we have to make sure we are patient in that moment.

“This week, I wouldn’t say Arsenal is completely out of the picture but it’s rather unlikely. But after that then Luis will be back.”

Thiago also out. Klopp said with the short turnaround: “Let me say, two days after a game pretty much everybody is a doubt but I didn’t hear now anything that somebody is definitely out; maybe a few late calls, that’s it.”

         Salah Jota Nunez

      Be.Harder.To.Beat.

      Change both FBs from Citeh.
Milner in the middle, shore things up, though we very short midfield options.
Nunez back in, if have less creativity in the middle, need pace and directness up front. I like Gapko, but would go with that front 3.

We've been dire away. Even though Chavs are as poor as we are, amn't overly hopeful.

Mentality monsters sounds laughable now. Just fight..it is OK to lose. But, even 7 year olds will keep fighting and running till the end.

Here’s hoping for a miraculous turnaround in the next two games. Chelsea has been losing at their home to every other team in the league and we should be hoping to make their toxic and vile crowd uncomfortable which could get transferred on to their players.

Chavs are clearly worse than us but I’m sure we can lower our performance to match the theirs.

Never know what to think nowadays but heart still goes for a win.

Don’t look forward to games with much enthusiasm of late. Just pray we turn up with a vengeance tonight.

I'm working so won't see this but honestly the weekend knocked the stuffing out of me and I've no real motivation to even want to see it.

That'll pass of course but the nature of this season has been a slog for the most part.

Hard to swallow just how fragmented we are, it’s painful watching a group of players who would have killed for each other not so long ago, those beaming smiles and happy joyful eyes replaced by sad & disgruntled  orbs devoid of any sparkle, we have no bounce, no sense of togetherness, no cohesion, fluidity it’s almost as if the players have given up mentally, Jürgen’s rallying cries falling on deaf ears, nobody listening everyone hypnotised with their own disappointing thoughts, this team, this squad crying out for help when no help is available, and so the tumble dryer cycle will continue until the Refs last peep on that final day,

This is our season, or what’s left of it, those who are fit to play will of course try their best but they know, we know, Jürgen knows it simply won’t be good enough no matter who we play, so what do we do ? As always we will keep going, nothing else for it, our best hopes are that 4th spot rivals drop more points than we do, we really really don’t want Thursday/Sunday football or worse that gawd awful conference sh*te, I’d rather be in a relegation dogfight at least it would be exciting,

How we are all feeling won’t be dissimilar to that of Jürgen and his fractured troops, they can do something about it, however confidence levels are at the moment lower than Shark sh*t so I honestly cannot see us improving too much at all, in fact I personally can’t wait for this bi*ch of a season to end, sad I know but I’m not sure apart if your Blueshite we can feel any lower,

So tonight, up against a equally fractured Chav mob who have a better looking future than we do right now, albeit managerless, are still a tough nut to crack away, got boring score draw written all over it, 1-1 I fancy, our options are limited of course but you can only use what you have at your disposal,…..

……………… Allison, Trent, Konate, Virgil, Kostas, Fabinho, Milner, Elliot, Gakpo, Nunez, Mo…………..

Think most of us would have rung the changes by now had we had the luxury of having a deeper squad, and one full of quality, so go with what you have and hope Lady Luck plays her part, or even better we learn to string a few passes together so we at least look like a team.

1-1 in Tuesday evening bore fest !!

So do I mate, but we’re simply not consistent enough to make certain, I haven’t given up on it by any stretch but if we’re all honest it seems unlikely, Spuds dropping points to Blueshite helps but we cannot rely on others doing us favours, we have to do it ourselves, the real question I want to ask is….have our players got it in them for the fight…..seems weird to say so, but do they, really?

Capitulation seems to be a modern trend that’s slipped under the radar, not so long ago we’d be praising the unity we had amongst our own, can’t say the same this season for one reason or another, in short we don’t look like a team working together as one, we’re more individualistic and fragmented and that isn’t the best recipe if your looking for fight & determination to reach a goal !!

      NB: Team no longer available

I would drop VVD, Trent, Henderson and Elliott.

Milner always gives his 101%, Jones needs to show if he deserves to stay or not in the Summer. Firmino can perform in our midfield.

If we lose this Klopp will be gone by the weekend! That’s my prediction.

With respect Bob, shut the F**k up, we don’t want or need our own fuelling the fires of the managerial merry go round, there’s enough of those tw*ts on twitter that do that already, for me you are of sound mind with reasonable intelligence so no need for you to succumb to such nonsense!!

Loads of talk of Salah being benched and Trent. Would be very surprised at Salah..

      NB: Team no longer available

I would drop VVD, Trent, Henderson and Elliott.

Milner always gives his 101%, Jones needs to show if he deserves to stay or not in the Summer. Firmino can perform in our midfield.

      Come on Reds.

I wouldn't have Jones in here as a test of his quality when we need desperately to win it.

I just think the way Klopp has been looking lately and his comments after the city game, if we get a hammering tonight it wouldn’t surprise me if he left.

      Not very good!
I just don’t think Klopp looks happy right now. And not just because of the results. He looks fed up.

Do not know anyone who could replace Jürgen Klopp at present. A win would be a boost ahead of Sunday's clash against Arsenal on Sunday

Not for me mate, he knows more than anyone why were in such a state, but he’s too nice to cast aspersions at our owner’s, never bite the hand that feeds you, I think they saying goes, I’m of the opinion that Jürgen would not have signed a extension if he thought he couldn’t rebuild, so for me he has a plan going forward and will want to carry it thru, he doesn’t do things half arsed, he’s in it for the long haul, he won’t whine and moan, he won’t Chuck his toys out, and he certainly wouldn’t walk away, he’s a winner winner chicken dinner type, and is perfectly happy working with the cards he’s been dealt…….

……and besides, Queen Ulla  would go f***in mental 😂😂😂😂

My Mrs reckons Harvey Elliott is in Wallasey watching a game with Tyler Morton next to where my 7 year old is training?

Is he injured or is she a bit thick?
