Fed up tbh of all the passing back, in most games this season. Seemingly gone backwards from what we have seen, from the side in recent seasons !
Long ball footy wth! Liverpool playing long ball constantly, passing it back and dawdling with the ball around the box, terrible football. Henderson passing it backwards and asking for it back to do what? Same old story.

Well actually he moved to right back very early during his academy days before Klopp even arrived at the club - but hey let’s not let that fact get in the way
It doesn't really change the point does it, the point wasn't it's Klopp who did this, it's that he's a midfielder playing at right back, put Fabinho back while we're at it and Trent back both to their original positions, see if Fab can hack it.

No the point is he was a winger , and when he hit adult football he was moved to a more natural position when very young

Was Carragher a striker playing at centre back

TAA is a right back , the best manager in the world plays him at right back. Yet someone on the forum thinks he knows better

He was originally a central midfielder and it was Klopp who stuck him at right back so I don't even get why people persist with he's not a midfielder crap. It's so weird and a lie.

This is crunch time for Trent. He has been found out as a full back. He's too flat footed, gets done on both sides because he just can't match the pacy tricky winger off an almost standing start. He also isn't the bravest out there. He's not great in the air either.

His range of passing is brilliant, can see stuff ahead and put the ball into the danger area. Has a ferocious shot on him. So where would you play him ?

We are desperately short of midfield players. If Trent is moved up, it will take time to get the pace and feel of the position. If it doesn't happen this season, it has to start in the summer. Failing that he should be sold.

You really are a teachers pet aren't you, the teacher would probably bin your apple though.
As far as I'm concerned if Trent isn't tried in midfield it is a huge travesty.

Yep unfortunately been done too many times at right back now, so it at least has to be tried and for a run of games (the midfield thing) and yes if it doesn't work he'd have to move on.

He is an attacking right back and for 5 season he was outstanding doing the job Klopp wants him to do - he was key for the team winning multiple trophies

There is a reason why Klopp doesn’t play him as a midfielder- because that’s not where he wants him to play in the system

I agree, I think people forget the last 5 seasons. Sadly his form (as with the rest of the team) has fallen off a cliff.

Maybe the way to look at it is that Trent isnt a Klopp-style midfielder. He’d walk into most 4/5 man Premier League midfields as a wide winger/midfielder but Klopp seems to want his 3 mids to be traditional CMs, all energy, pressing, recycling possession, tackling, buzzing around like relentless wasps. That’s not Trent and that’s probably why Klopp doesn’t try him there.

Just because Klopp doesn’t want to play him there doesn’t mean we can’t have a discussion about whether he should. Good grief, stop trying to control every single discussion on the forum.

Yep - spot on , TAA could prob play as a wing back but the talk of him playing in a middle three in a Klopp team is just a touch silly and just shows a bit of lack of understanding of the way Klopp sets up his team and the tactics he employs.

If Klopp thought he could work in the midfield then he would have played him there

Nothing more ridiculous than a statement of “TAA is a midfielder playing right back”

U never know, u guys in Boston, may save millions from someone right under your noses! Coz there is no way you guys are paying for Bellingham.

Nothing's working ATM so shake it the F**k up. Even it is for these last 10 or so games, whatever the F**k we have left in this miserable season apart from that magnificent 7  :D

Should have taken three points here and aimed to field our strongest 11 for this one and not the game against Arsenal IMO.
