Seems like a cheaper version of Bellingham from the YT clips. Can't say much else as not seen him in games but looks like he'd be an asset in our midfield but then again so did Naby.

I’m sure the analytics team would have some very nice stats to justify the acquisition. If the numbers don’t add up, then it should reflect in a relatively lower transfer fee.

Then again, past stats are not indicative of future performance.

Makes perfect since but like anything it’s based on a budget.

Definitely looks the type of signing we would go for. Good age and profile, loads of potential and seemingly available at a reasonable price as he hasn't been getting much game time. Bayern don't often sign numpties and he could ripe for the picking. He'll have a couple of national teammates to help him integrate and will be able to see for himself what a Dutch midfielder can win at Anfield.

I don't see this one mainly because of two things : Bayern and the player's agent, Rafaela Pimenta (the super agent who succeeded Raiola).

From what I've read, the player wants minutes, but Bayern want to keep him which already complicates things and implies that the player and his agent will have to force their way out of this which sounds like the type of mess we usually steer clear of. Also, like I mentioned above, the player's agent is one of those so called ''super agents'' which we usually also stay away from.

Stylistically, potential wise, age, etc., he sounds like the type of player we'd be targeting, everything else is off tho. If there's a way to convince Bayern to sell, not pay an insane agent fee and wrap this up fairly quickly then great, otherwise I'd prefer we don't waste a month of the window going back and forth between the guy's agent and the club only to realize that we waisted our time.

We were interested in him before, but decided our midfield is fine, would be a good signing, looks a more dynamic version of Fabinho, I like the look of Mac Allister of Brighton.

More like a fresher Fab than a Bellingham, agree.

As for not being for sale, why say it.publicly if not to drive up the price?

This one has more legs than most.

These YT videos make the players look really impressive. Clearly it's all their better showings, but we need to remember they are also probably playing against worse defenders than they'll find in the prem.

I would love us to sign Gravenberch.  I remember a few of us talking about him last summer before he signed for Bayern.  The frustrating thing is that if we had moved for him last summer, I'm sure we could have signed him for less than we will have to pay to Munich this summer.  And all because we went for Tchouameni and then waited for Jude when neither deal ended up working out.  Sums up our recruitment failure at CM in recent seasons....
