Hell you not even totally out of the top 4 but with so many teams needed to drop points can’t see that one happening.

What's the permutations for an extra champions league spot and/or extra Europa Spot

Surely with City in FA Cup and Champions League, should they win either or both that creates an extra place in one of the competitions?

If so can't see us not getting Europa League at the very least.

If City win the C/L their place is not transferable. If United win FA cup and finish top 4. The Europa league spot for winning the cup goes to the next highest in Prem League.

Top 4 is a remote possibility but the Europa league looks like our best bet.

Essentially it'll be 5th and 6th into Europa League and 7th into Conference League

Well we've won it 3 times. Under new names a few times but still. United once in 2017 I think it was.Probably got beat by some tiny minnow...FC Coste Blanca..

First up on the run in is that creep Harold Kane...diving and feigning injury. Spurs are so flaky, Toni Conte more or less said they are a bunch of "southern nancies"...true as well. They were in for a top 4 place then crumbled first sign of pressure. Going through managers nearly as bad as Everton. Conte..Nuno E Santo..Pochettino..Mouri nho..Ramos..lost track...anyone's guess who's in next.....David Brent must be in with a shout...

I consider this our pre season build up so winning as many games as possible is important for confidence after a weird season. Scoring 29 goals in just 4 games more than Everton have scored all season 13 + better G/D than UTD  yet some performances that really stank starting with our first CL game which was awful and a sign of the season to come. Looked much more together last 5 games so finish strong and let Jürgen do his Magic in the Summer.  A good beating of Spurs would be nice but they always turn up at Anfield don't they

Can't see us getting fourth. Man Utd would need to totally lose the plot and although they still have their meltdown moments they are more resilient than before with Rashford having a great season. 5th would be a good result the way our season has gone. If it's the conference thing I'd rather we not be in it. It's the LDV vans trophy of Europe. The Europa League thing is just about tolerable if we can get to the latter stages.

Agreed - let’s finish the season strong, get set for a good Europa campaign and attack the league once more. We can do this.

Yeah agreed, just happy to be back in CL even though making up the numbers. Be nice if we’re oily mancs though going into the CL as summer targets will become interesting.

Said many times and I think most of us think the same. Europa Cup only good if you reach QF stages such the amount of games you have to play.

Given the year you lot had arguably the best way for you to get CL again will be the Europa cup. I don’t think one transfer window will do it when realistically there’s only two places up for grabs with City certain and Arsenal most likely a top 4 again.

It's a truism that you end up where you deserve to...Too many lost points to the relegation garbage this term. As for conference....It shouldn't even exist...it's nonsense.
