Not getting too excited about united dropping points, they still need to drop a lot more for us to catch them.

And we need to be perfect 4 wins from last 4.

I'd be very surprised if we don't finish in the top 6.  We won't finish in the top four.  Man United will win at least 3 of the last 5 and in any case, I'm not confident we will take all 12 points available.

Brighton have still got to play the top three in the Premier League and Aston Villa away is no banker.

I do hope they finish in the top six.

No real difference between 5th and 6th anyway as both will go straight into the group stages of the Europa League.

What killed us for top four was not building on the 7-0 win over United and instead going 4 without a win. Yes we had some tough games there but had to get out of those games with more than we did.

Fair play to Newcastle though who have found a good run of form after a shaky few weeks post World Cup.

I find it hard to call the 6th spot with Brightons run in so brutal. I actually think if Trent had moved to his hybrid roll sooner you’d of been even closer to CL spot. What do you think?

I think Spurs are a mess.
I think Liverpool will outperform Brighton to get 5th.
I don't think Newcastle or you lot will fall apart at this late stage.

I think Trent's role has only changed because Bajcetic is out for the season so it is what it is.
From what was a disaster of a season, you can build with Europa League and a few new signings.

Weekends game now become massive, if you lot beat  Brentford on Saturday it makes our game against  Hammers a must not lose game. Potentially you could just be the 1 point behind. 🤢 I’d definitely be doing squeaking bum time if that was to happen.

You basically need 3 wins (9pts) from last 5 games, or a combo of results. Takes you to 72 points.Are max is 71 pts. At home to Wolves, Chelsea and Fulham. Must be strong favorites but your bottle might go. We just need to win all our games and if it's not enough, so be it.

As you know I only have you drawing against Villa in last 6 games. Hopefully that’s enough for us lot!! to hold on.   

United are limping over the line but they'll get there. We look like it's Europa league. We must be grateful to avoid the conference variation.

The part of the season where the only thing that matters is winning the next game.

United dont score many goals their G/D is poor and they can implode as we have seen so just keep the pressure up with another win and they go to W.Ham who love beating UTD. We play without expectations or pressure.

Yeah said all season we would lack goals. We need a striker ( or two ) like you need midfielders and probably still just making up the numbers next year.

S'not been a classic this year. City have cooked the books so any win is tainted. Arsenal, to be fair are the real winners. They have, almost by default, found a decent manager. Newcastle are a rent-a-team. Sportswashing fodder.

Mancheater United slipped in the back door due mostly to our injury crisis. Similarly to Arsenal, they have found, almost by luck, a reasonable competent manager.

So all in all it's been a mediocre season. It's the glory and dignity, the sheer enthusiasm, the joy that we bring to the game, when that is slightly lacking the game has to tolerate the impostures, the rent-a-teams, the Mancheater mobs...the Southern con men. A sad sad season in many ways.

For most of this season people have been writing the top four off, saying we haven't got a cat in hells chance of making it. Now here we are, with just four games left still in with a shout of getting there.

It won't be easy but it never is with our club and yeah it'll take something a bit special to get there but this club specialises in special.

So don't give up just yet.
