Somehow, we're actually two points and one place better off than we were at this stage two seasons back.

Trent still thriving. Take 1-0 all day long. Let’s keep stacking wins and see what happens.

Grateful for the points - our glorious winning streak continues. We are consistently edging games against average opposition in nervy bum-tingling encounters, which is at least an improvement on getting battered every third or fourth game.

Hopefully we can eke out another win at the weekend. At this stage it's just about securing that crucial Europa League spot, making it to the end of season with a sense of momentum and using it to block out the bad memories so we can all cope going into our summer hollies.

Looks like a shot at the europa awaits. This winning run we've put together just coming too late for top 4 but at least we look like avoiding the third tier comp.

i said this after the last game. i think its paramount that we decide if we are going to stick to a 3-4-3 with trent in the middle and DEFEND as a 3-4-3 or stick to 4 at the back with 3 in midfield and buy a new Right Back, because it looks exhausting for these guys to be trying to track back and recover positions when we are defending.

A better team will make us pay badly.

Its possible these guys were tired. But its not sustainable.

I love Trent in midfield but the inverted fullback thing complicates things and leaves us open

Brighton have 3 games in hand but are 7pts adrift. They have a tough run in as well so I think we will get the Europa league, not what we wanted but injuries have dented our chances of top 4.

Im not expecting any special signings I.E. Bellingham, so let’s get the Europa spot and try win it next season. I think it’s exciting - Klopp’s missing trophy.

      Another win, all that matters.

Rotation was needed, but the guys coming in looked rusty.

All good and all that stuff.

we will buy a couple of 40-50 mill lads and possibly a couple of bargains that were not expected, the bargain will probably turn out to be class. l o l

And aye totally agree about europa cup, go and win the thing, its a tough comp. to win.

First clean sheet for nearly a month, fifth win on the bounce, another Mo Salah goal and Anfield remains the fortress. Yet people are F***ing whining about it. Let's not forget this is the same Fulham team that people were crying about because we only drew with them on the opening day of the season, here we are winning and it's still not good enough.

F**k it la, enjoy the win

If we are not winning, we should be winning. If we manage a scrappy win, we should be winning in style. If we are blowing teams away, we should have gotten a clean sheet, gained more possession, shots on target, avoided that card, converted all attempts, etc.

Lots to whine/moan about (room to improve).
Positive post match reaction - room to improve
Negative post match reaction - whine and moan

We can only react, as none of us have the real influence to rectify our play. Just enjoy the win! Any win.
