You guys not been paying attention to the Real Madrid - BVB news then.
Price for Bellingham up to 150 million.
Hardly comparable with 70 - 80 million for Mac Allister.
      Unless you have an agenda.

So if we now need three players and Mac Allister is 80m, then it’s about 2/3 of the 130m that was offered for Jude. Which means there’s 50m left for two more players. What quality can we get for 25m I wonder… all stars need to be aligned.

And that’s even if FSG would sanction 130m for three players. Hopefully the money will be there for spending.

Looks like a Klopp type player, but 80M.  Would give a bit of pause for thought.  Like him though,

I don't believe there's any way that Bellingham goes for that much. If he wants to leave, BVB know this is the best time to sell. With us "out" of the running and Madrid being the main suitor, they are thinking they can charge what they want. Madrid won't be taken for fools.

He has 3 years left on his contract , if Fernandez is going for £120mil then Dortmund aren’t going to let him go for less. They are in no rush to sell

I think everyone knows that Chelsea overpaid though. Don't think that sets a new market. If Jude wants a move, will BVB really keep him against his will? That's not really been their style. The talk last year was that he needed to stay an extra year because they didn't want to sell Haaland and him in the same year. I'll be really surprised if he doesn't leave this summer.

No idea who this guy is....

[Germán García Grova] Agreement between @LFC & Mac Allister now VERY CLOSE. Deal until winter 2028. Alexis wants to be coached by Klopp. At the moment #LFC the only official club in talks. Fee: £80M+ including bonuses & objectives

Well if this has any foundation, sounds like a good deal.

Can see why they'll want top whack. Not many stars they let go on the cheap. We probably would have saved £40m if we'd moved last summer but given the year he's had I suppose the extra we'll end up paying is the assurance the guy is not just a flash in the pan but the real deal.

Like him a lot, think he'd be a good signing.

Don't think we'll be paying £80m for him. Probably about £50m, with bonuses of £10m-£20m on top. Anyway, he would improve us I think. Very tidy all rounder, does everything well. Somewhat like Gini, but a more penetrating passer, bit more of a midfield general. Can play either DM or CM. And he doesn't seem injury prone, which would be nice!

Mate, I know nothing of him, but that's not unusual for me..does he score goals?

I want a CM who goes forward, wants to take on the oppo and likes to have a ping at goals.

Where the F**k do we find the next Steven Gerrard?

If Brighton say 80m, that's what he will go for. We've seen with Cucurella, White and Arsenal's failed pursuit of Caicedo that you either pay what Brighton want or you move on elsewhere.

Fans - spend millions on a midfielder please

Club - look to bring in a proven midfielder

Fans - why are we spending £80mil on him when we can spend it on x player

That's just the usual. Remember there was a gang of experts who would spend their time slagging Gini and essentially call him useless (''what does he even do on the pitch?''). Those same geniuses are now blaming the club for not replacing the guy who ''did nothing on the pitch''. Walking, breathing paradoxes.

The funny part is that you can't even apply the ''hindsight is 20/20'' saying to this lot because even with hindsight they still get about 90% of everything they say wrong. If Mac Allister indeed signs for us and his role is not as flashy as this lot needs a player to be to notice him yet he's still key to our success, they will still call it a failed transfer and it will be ''funds we could've spent on Bellingham or whatever player they'll be fancying by then''.

This rumoured new DOF is also already a failure despite not even signing for us yet.

A month ago Salah needed shipping off and he wasn't scoring because he was finished and the club should've never gave him that extension, but had the club not renewed him in the summer it would be the opposite and they'd be attacking the club right now. Now that the team is working as a unit a bit better and Mo is banging them in, as he has done most of the season really if we're being honest, they are completely silent and won't even acknowledge it and guess when is the next time this lot will resurface with the ''he's finished'' theory? Exactly, the next time Mo doesn't score for 3 games in a row.

It's hopeless. I don't think its ''fans'' as in the whole fanbase. It's just a very vocal group that mainly operates on twitter and some of them spill over onto forums.

      Always been the way.

The ones who shout the loudest and spending loads of money in players are only happy if it's the player they want.
