Can't jump on the Jones bandwagon just yet. Been a stuttering start, looks as if he is growing in the shirt so..'all good'..and hope he goes on to make a serious contribution from here on.

Enjoyed the last hour of all that immensely!

      Well in reds!

And dodged the Europa Conference when it was looking like that was the best we could have managed at one point!

Keith is going to be so disappointed. Win our games and see where we end up keep the faith

At the start I thought, oh here we go Pawson is going to allow them to kick lumps out of us and we're not exactly the most physical of teams when others get in our faces. Thankfully we rode that storm and began to pass it through and around them not giving the chance to kick lumps. Once we scored it was one way traffic with some great build up play and only one winner. Well played reds. We looked more like our old selves.

Can't agree that we missed a trick by not scoring 5/6 to help our GD. We went close several times, final ball wasn't quite right. Gakpo tends to hold on too long and very often he runs into trouble. Diaz had a good second half but the final pass didn't always create a chance.

Shoddy Leicester for sure and yes we should've scored more but 3-0 considering they started quite well is a great result.

Newcastle's last 3 games is looking difficult, if we can win our last 2 games we have a good chance of catching them.

Smith says it wasn't a free kick for the Trent goal. Well lunging across a player is a foul. Getting the ball is not a get out of jail free card so to speak. Yes win the ball cleanly but crashing in hoping to get the ball and take the player simultaneously is a foul.

But what a strike by Trent and a master stroke by the boss is free him up and give him licence to play high as and when the play dictates. And great credit to the 'floating' back 3..especially Konate..he's been fantastic since Trent started going into mid much more.

      Boss result that.

      Another clean sheet.

Two scousers scoring the goals  ;D

Travelling Kopites were in full voice and belting out all the songs, Bobby getting the lion's share, fantastic.

Stunning Free kick from Trent what a goal, that killed them off big time.

Leicester - so poor, no cohesion in the team, it was like a training session for us. They deserve to go down.

well done Redmen, just two games to go, we can do this !!

Lovely win to keep the pressure on. Those above will need to earn it now. Will be very happy indeed if come the last day of the season we have even a squeaky bum's chance of making the top 4.

      Loved the Bobby song.
Loved Bobby soaking it all in at the end.
      Gonna miss him.

Super game from the team and especially the Scouse heartbeat in the team.
Bring the right players into that group and it's looking good for the future.

      Now win the next game.

Hard to see us not winning our last two games. Sure could get interesting these last few weeks…….

Unbelievable winning run, the feel good factor is back. This team is amazing and even if we end up in the Europa we’ll be able to attract quality.

I have a feeling we are going to blow up next season. F***ing love it.

Leicester are poor but winning 3-0 away from home against a side that has everything to play for is impressive.

Jones was really good. He kind of gives me Origi vibes with how cool and unfazed he can be.

With the tweak to the box formation, Trent has gone from a disinterested looking liability (this season) to one of the most in form players in the league. He scored a fantastic goal and he has gone to a new level in his new role.

Fab had a really good game and I thought Henderson played well. Every player did his job today.

Good shout on Fab. I’ve said it 100 times on here - when Fabinho plays well, the team plays well, his influence on our game is huge.

There’s a reason he’s been an automatic starter for years. Up until this season, he was truly one of the best players in the world in his position.

It’s a shame he was so poor earlier in the season but the box formation seems to suit him better. I also think it helps having Jones and Henderson (and now Trent) supporting him, rather than Elliot and Thiago as was the case earlier in the season.

We need one classy midfielder that gets us rid of Hendo and we‘ll be flying again. Last games showed that it is not so much about talent but system. When Klopp moved TAA it all went uphill.

From now on it is win-win. If we make CL, good. If we do not, good as well, bc it will give Klopp opportunities to rest good players in early stages, so we‘ll be fresher thruout season. Next season City might experience the same hang-over than us this one.

      Wow.

Trent's rocket. Wow and took the ball on the roll as well. I always love it when they take out the wall off the picture.

The 2nd goal of Jones was nice as well and the 1st was so calm and good technique too.

Only seen the last 27 posts, but can't help thinking how nice it is, to not have to sift through post after post after post with the words "tired" "shattered" "knackered" written after the last few games this season. We were never tired, we just couldn't be bothered to go the extra mile you need to most of the season, especially away from home. It's now when the hurt of those horror shows at Brighton Bournemouth, Wolves, Forest etc kick in.

That's the end of that home kit, with our first win there in 3.5 years. Finish off the last 2 games with a couple more wins and a load of goals, and finish the season on a high laying down a marker or two for next season.
