Just watched motd, wtf no analysis of the fact Cody got foot raked down his torso ? Let alone so called pundits don't know why Cody's goal was disallowed

Probably would've eaten up the time they had allotted to our game. They did tributes to Bobby and stuff. Plus they did the offside and a bit on the way Villa played.

T'other issue/point is should the refs come out and explain their decisions. They are full time professionals and they should be answerable and open to public scrutiny. Instead their like some secret society.

The issue with the offside decision on the Gakpo 'goal' was that VVD was standing in an offside position when Diaz headed it. It went towards Konsa and came off him to VVD. Now normally that touch puts VVD onside but the Ref judged the Konsa touch was 'unintentional'.

Now this is farcical. Konsa is in an INTENTIONAL defending position...he is defending, that's why he's there...if VVD wasn't there it would've be regarded as a vital intervention....defendin g...that's what he's there for...FFS....

Defenders get so called unintentional touches all the time. It's a stupid rule..if it's played off a defender to an attacker then that plays him onside. The ref can't say whether it's unintentional or intentional...but the fact is Konsa was there to defend and that's what he did.

John Brooks the Ref told Klopp it was a "Subjective decision"...means United & Newcastle can play with less pressure. Be of interest if one of them gets only 70 pts meaning Brooks ruling on the Gakpo 'goal' could've cost us.

Two other Brooks decision don't add up either. The Mings boot and Hendo upended in the box. Clear red card and a blatant penalty.

      The phoney offside..the red card..the penalty...BROOKS 3 Liverpool 0..

and then when Managers act like humans they get roasted. Total waste of time challenging any of these decisions or even asking for explanations because they stick together like sh*t to a blanket

I mean did the Klopp/ Tierney incident have any bearing on Brooks 'performance'. Very very difficult for Brooks not to have been influenced. Was definitely unbalance and even that is giving him the benefit.

or was it Brooks 3 Klopp 0..

I mean not trying to split hairs or be petty but quick check...'subjective'..implies decision made with personal input....' objectionable' implies decision made with impersonal input.

Was Brooks in knowing English is Klopp's 'second language, playing semantic games with Klopp,...the swine..!

We don't deserve top 4: we dropped points to Wolves, Bournemouth and to a finished Chelsea side who got 1 win in their last 9 games. If we won those games then we would've finished top 4.

Whichever way you look at it, it’s clear that the three contentious issues, only became contentious due to the officials actions.
All three, clear as day, yet all get missed. Well they clearly weren’t missed, but certainly overlooked. 🤷‍♂️

Sorry, but if that isn’t intentional, then pigs do fly.

I fear for us next season if we come close to winning anything, these officials are clearly going to do their best to prevent us doing so.
I’m thinking suing them ( either individuals or organisation) for malpractice.
With yesterdays decisions, they wouldn’t have a leg to stand on.

and if we won all our games we would be Champions. Its Done now they corrected their early performance mistakes with 7 wins 3 draws so everything is looking good for a summer of huge importance for this club.

Yeah but those games were easy and it's frustrating to drop points to them. Now we are paying the price by playing in Thursday nights in Europa league. Hopefully Newcastle and United will join us soon there because they are pot 3 and 4 so they likely won't make it past the group stage.

What's the point of being in a european competition if you aren't likely to win it, might as well be called Arsenal .....

The ruling as to whether it is intentional IS a subjective decision. You said it right earlier that the rule is stupid.  I think offside should be liberalized far more than it is.

I have no doubt that we will be going for the title and all the cups! The balance is better. Couple of massive midfield purchases and some good defensive cover then we’re there!

Easy? Didn’t we lose most of our points this season to the sh*te at the bottom?

City away and Brighton aside, we stood up quite well to the top 6 this season.

our last 10 games have despite not being on top for given us 24 points or a 91/92 point season . They have found the winning mentality again that had gone missing winning without playing well is how championships are won so with a few players signed Jota and Diaz finally getting back into playing football everything is possible next season. As we are the only team to have run them close and beaten them in the last 5 years its others that are deluded because we know what it takes.

Sorry if you thought it was harsh mate apologies  to you. Thing is I'm not sure who ever we ( United or Liverpool ) buy in summer window can still play to the same level as city.
