Summed up the season

yes very frustrating scoring for fun almost and letting them in as well. Seems a few were already on the beach today.

I also think Elliott is not a good player. He is too slow and speed is essential if you wanna be world class or at least above average in PL.

Never in a month of Sunday's is he good enough for LFC....Too small physically...too slow mentally. Showed potential, but like shedloads before him just hasn't kicked on...I'd sell him.

Meh who cares.

Well that was the season summed up in 97 minutes. No defending, weak midfield. Too many mediocre players in the squad. Recruitment has to be spot on this summer as I don't see FSG giving Jürgen bucket loads of dosh.

Never expected much more due to it being a dead rubber.

So...the assessment from Jürgen must be, the manager who is still the only manager to break up Bayern dominance and Pep's trillion pound empire....we need better players, quicker players, more urgency, better defending and warriors in midfield and upfront.

Out of this current squad, only Ali, trent, Konate (just), VVD (just) robbo (just) Bajetic, Gapko, Mo, Diaz (when fit), Jota get in the first eleven that challenges. Nunez, Harvey, Jones, etc are good squad players...

We have to be RUTHLESS

we ain't gonna replace all of this in one summer....so it could be another europa league season...

You expect the the players coming in would want to send Bobby and James off in the best possible way, whilst at the same time show the Manager they deserve to be here next season and beyond and I can tell you right now, Matip and Gomez for starters have to be looked at in that department, especially Gomez....horrible defending. I still can't believe what I saw when that lad Soulawhateverhisnamewas, was running at him, he just backed off and backed off and backed off and let him shoot. What the actual F**k was that?

Shouldn't concede 4 goals to the worst team in the league even with multiple changes. It highlights the same issue we had all the season, we get overrun in the midfield and Joe Gomez/Matip cannot defend anymore.

Poor from Hendo. Trent too slow. Kelleher’s positioning poor.

I like Kelleher but today he has reminded of Karius with the way the German would look poor every time it went in and a lot of the time would get nowhere near the ball. Kelleher hasn’t played in months to be fair to him but this is by far the worst I have ever seen him play. He’s normally reliable.

Yeah he is. It was refreshing to know that we had someone in goal who can clear the ball away from a pass back, without a panic, for a change.

It was his first league game in 18 months. He is much better than Karius, so tearing into him and the team that played is totally ott. This game was effectively a friendly, similar to a dead rubber European group game. The result and the performance has no effect whatsoever on what happens next season.
