So far as "our" side is concerned, it's pretty apparent that Reddy, Pearce and Joyce are getting their info from contacts within the club. I'm sure Soton are releasing info on their own side as well, but that shouldn't be a surprise....we've dealt with them enough prior to know how they handle things.

Bringing in a part time out of employment DOF was a good idea. How many other big clubs have part time ,temporary figures in place during a rebuild . But it's OK he likes a pint and a character

So, just out of curiosity, considering we all know we had agree personal terms with the player weeks ago, but would not meet Southampton valuation of the player and assuming you are right, Jorg doesn't have the power to match the wage offered by Chelsea 3 weeks after we had agreed personal terms with him, who's fault is it that we didn't seal the deal for 3 weeks?

Nope, we agreed terms (verbally) and the player was ready to join us as soon as a bid would be accepted. I reiterate my question, who's fault is it that we refused to bid 50M for 3 weeks and suddenly find ourselves empty handed after being forced to bid 10M more than price originally quoted and that we refused to pay for 3 weeks?
