Think that's a few in a row for Mac now, been sensational after I wasn't overly impressed with at the start of his time with us but fk me,he sure has grown on me. Absolute Quality.

Currently our best midfielder, definitely a steal for the price we paid for him.

If you have a lad who plays midfield like I do, you put today's game on and tell him to watch Mac Callister. That was the picture performance from home today. What a player we got for 35 mil.

Swiss army knife of a player. Does everything in that midfield and I'm always amazed at how he seems to be everywhere all at once for the whole 90 minutes.

Every time he played in the first couple of months of the season I kept saying to myself I can't wait to see this lad further up the pitch free from being the 6 and boy is he delivering the goods now.

Along with Van Dijk I'd say he's the most important player to keep fit at the moment given his influence on games.

Sensational today. He's just a masterful player when he's like that, all round very solid and hard working but adds moments of pure class and vision to elevate his game. We definitely signed the right Brighton midfielder.

He did what he wanted out there today, his passing is beautiful to watch. Only 2nd to Trent in the squad.

I think a lot of people, including myself, thought that Szobo would be the midfielder who would make the biggest impact on the team. However, I'd argue that Szobo made a quicker impact. Without a doubt, Macca is proving to be the best signing we made this summer, followed very closely by Endo.

To be fair the last few months he’s grown and grown in stature hasn’t he. Becoming a dominant force now.

The turning point for macca this season was when Jürgen was forced to put Endo in at 6.

As soon as he got in his proper position the performances started to come. Chelsea at home was my standout so far but there have been many since december.

He is not a 6 and never will be. In emergency maybe. But why we wasted august to december with endo picking splinters out his backside and mac looking lost will always be a mystery.

Im sure there were reasons for it and it was not as black and white as it appeared. But for once, injuries were welcome as it forced Jürgen to play Endo and its fair to say neither player has looked back since.
