Awful again today it has to be said. Must've given away the ball cheaply 7 or 8 times.

Nothing positive really came off for him at all (not helped by Endo carrying on his poor run of games too and Jones looking like a Sunday league player).

Yeah I think that is a big factor. He's been our key man this season, midfield general. He hits a bad spell and suddenly we go from looking good in midfield to looking sh*te.

I don't think Jürgen's last 2 team selections have helped tbh, but it does suggest we could do with another quality CM next season, whereas I had been thinking we were strong enough there.

Just think Endo needs upgrading and hopefully Gravenberch can fulfil his potential.  Bajetic hopefully kicks on

Thinking about who we could sign for midfield is just reminding me how gutted I was we didn't try for Bellingham last summer. Stick him in this side and we'd be out of sight in the league by now.

Probably knackered from carrying the whole midfield all season.

He did have that 3 month spell earlier this year where he was brilliant, played out of position at the start and looked all over the shop, picked up an unfortunate injury which kept him out for a month, came back and played some of his best football for 3 months and since the Palace game hasn't really delivered an above average performance.

We need players who can deliver 7-8 months of a season not only turn up for 1/3 of a season like Szobo, Jones and Mac. This is supposed to be our best midfield 3 ffs.

Was fine until Endo came off. Needs to play with q proper 6 ideally and not have to play as one.

Shouldn't be that hard, assuming he's seen the highlights of the game yesterday.

He'll have already failed if he does but I don't see anything to worry about here.

Form has dropped off a cliff since the United game.

He was mine up until the last few weeks. Virgil might have shaded him in the end, although his season wasn't perfect either. If he'd played a few more games, I'd have said Conor Bradley.

Mac Allister 3rd - had a super spell in the middle of the season but struggled initially (not his fault as he had to play as a 6) and then dropped off badly at the end.

Have to agree consistency wasn't there for me all the way not helped by being played out of his best position.  VVD for.me
