He's perfect for the 10 role that Slot is using.

He's a number 10 yes, and that's where he was out of this world in the first three months of this year, but the controller role he is playing now is priceless.

Watching the replay of the WH game on the club channel, and always appreciate the game much better after seeing it repeated as the emotions during the game as it's happening makes it harder to do so. Mac ran that midfield and did so at his own pace. It's fitting its Ronnie Whelan commentating as he too played the role Mac is doing for us now. Control away from home especially is massive. Dom gives us energy, but Mac gives us control (Grav gives us thrust, and being so press resistant Curtis ensures we keep the ball).

Mac is easily the most underappreciated player in the team, especially so given he is playing in his lesser deeper position for the good of the team.

A lot of other players are getting the limelight but for me he is one of our most important players

He really is sensational.

I don't think it will be long before the 2 Spanish giants start to sniff around him...

The Keita from Leipzig could also take the ball deep and drive it up the pitch like Grav does. Sigh, what a waste of talent.

Love Mac, though. Phenomenal player for us and only 26yo so still only entering his prime years.

Maybe Gravenberch has taken away the lime light.   But rightly bumped an absolute brilliant player some posters have given him a little stick can't understand he's a class player.

He's probably our most consistent midfielder and can do a bit of everything.

Class player. Probably the best footballer in the team.

A true champion and we’re lucky to have him. Would walk into any team in the world.

Genuinely didn’t really get his signing when we got him. Tbf didn’t watch much Brighton, but you know what, he’s our best midfielder.

Never injured, defensively sound and attacking threat, and whenever he doesn’t play I feel it’s a noticeable drop off

I like how quickly Arne has found that midfield balance to get the best out of all them, it hasn’t always worked and there are still improvements to make but more often than not it has. There is a lot of similarities between Fab Hendo Gini to Grav Szobo and Mac..…one being that it’s a title winning midfield.

Yeah was really surprised to see him go off. Thought he was our best player plus a stick on for the pens.
