Im not sure he would have had enough in the tank for the run up for the peno, hes gassed, peno be like the one your 2 year old kid takes that rolls towards the goal, except Donnarumma wouldnt let it in pretending it was a belter

Was stunned when he came off.

He is Argentinian. They were built to take penalties!

Me too, plus thought we don't look as strong in midfield when he doesn't play.

He's almost become the unsung hero in the midfield but for me he's the gel that keeps it going.

Problem is Arne is Dutch isn't he, they worse than F***ing England when it comes to pens. Jürgen being German we were in safe hands. Think we won most of our cups on pens  :lmao:

Better get knock out games won before 120 mins from now on.

He's F***ing superb. Playing Grav deeper when Mac played last season has allowed him to move a little further forward at times to help the attack.

Love watching him, all round quality act

He still looks like he has been beaten up from the first whistle 😂

He is definitely one of the bright lights for our future he has just approached that sweet spot of his peak years.  Him, Gravenberg and Szoboszlai are a brilliant foundation for the midfield we need to add another at least one more top midfielder.   We can't expect them to play the constant matches every 3 days without giving them a little breather.
