Thought Dom's performance was very poor on Sunday, all that sticks in my mind was missplaced passes, passes that were short or behind the player.

The missed chances were the worst.

Also wonder how well he communicates out there, because there were 2 instances where he signalled for the pull back when he was in a great position.....after the chance was gone.

Me too FL Red, he's an absolute superb player, I'm not sure what some people expect.

He also had 2 lengthy spells out with injury this season. I think he missed 12 games in total. These things must be considered , especially in a players first season.

I'd happily settle for him just to become one of the best players at Liverpool.

Some players blow hot and cold early in their LFC career. Bobby was like that when we first signed him. Dom has been a bit like that but his quality is not in doubt. He's a very gifted footballer and I think our midfield is in safe hands with him, Macca, Endo, as well as Curtis and Baj to bring back into the fold. There's a lot to look forward to there.

Haven't seen recent games bar highlights and wondering could part of the issue behes lost his right sided role to MacAllister?

Is it me or has he not been very reliable since coming back? He seems to be quite lax on the ball and has had a few moments where his pass or touch has let him down.

Really thought he would come back firing but its never easy after some time off.

Think he will be a beast for us but we need some consistency from him again.

It looks like he's gone very one dimensional. In his first few months we saw him doing bits of everything, doing his defensive duties (even in our own 18 yard box at times), carrying the ball forward and beating players, helping out on the wings with overlapping runs.

Now it seems he's only interested in carrying the ball and taking wild shots, if not taking too many touches and losing the ball in promising positions, so I don't know if he's been told something different by Klopp/Pep.

Pathetic tonight. No desire. Nothing. Sort yourself out lad. Youre not starting sunday.

Needs to stop turning back and passing we have Endo for that, his job should be to turn forward and get us up the pitch. Very frustrating performance from him tonight.

Sad to say it but he’s probably cost us the tie at the end there. 2-0 is doable, 3-0 puts it to bed.

Another subpar showing from the £60m man. Needs to work on making simple passes.

Time to draw a line for the season, Harvey to start the remaining games and keep Szobo refreshed and hopefully rejuventated for pre-season.

So just kicking this thought around....Dom had mentioned when he got signed how important it was that Klopp was here and that's a main reason he came. His play has fallen off pretty much coinciding with the announcement of Klopp's departure? Maybe he's questioning whether he made the right decision...questioning whether he has a future at the club or even wants one? I know these guys are professionals and as such should be giving their all every game, but they are human and their emotions can affect their play.
