No far from. If Fab goes and Lavia comes is it a build or a replacement?

I'm asking about the build. We need another 2 in midfield and we need rb and cb. That's a rebuild.

Players will leave and players replace them 🤷‍♂️

Just because you say we need this player and that doesn’t mean it’s the case

The club won’t be buying a RB for starters

They also won’t be bringing in 4 more players

And they may not bring in a CB

If Phillips leaves they will pretty much have to, but so far it's been quiet regarding his potential departure.

I think we need a new CB regardless of Phillips leaving. Konate has a tendency to get injured, Matip probably not the automatic penciled in #2 anymore, especially if Trent is playing the inverted role more often. Virgil not quite his old self. At a minimum I'd like to see us get an up and comer for backup and to challenge for starting time. Ideally we'd get someone that would be an immediate stand in for Konate or Virgil when needed.

How vague. Deal in jeopardy but no reason documented and both parties still keen for a deal?

      Very strange.

Guess it depends on how they see someone like Quansah

Don't know anything about Quansah to really know whether he would be appropriate as a 5th option, but at only 20yo i think we would be better served to have an older player in that backup role.

No i don’t think we need a new RB and a CB won’t be a priority for me unless one leaves

Yh let's see when Konate gets injured, as he does, where that gets us. Lessons never learned. Always short changed and always accepted by most.

      Konate isn’t a right back 🤷‍♂️

Konate is the one we use to cover that space when Trent goes in the middle. I think you knew what I meant but you're trying to deflect from looking wrong

Looks like Newdawn found his way back here.

So if we are continuing to play the inverted role why do we need a new right back

So the hold up was apparently something to do with the club being able to register players.  That’s been sorted and this transfer will go through likely today.

Do think we have the money to do all that this window.

I reckon the cb will arrive next summer, rb will depend on how the likes of Bradley carry on playing. Tbh I'd rather see someone like Bradley come through .

Bradley seems to be getting playing this during preseason games. Maybe Jürgen does consider him an option there.
