Owen Beck made his debut for Dundee yesterday in a 1-0 win over Bonnyrigg in the Scottish League Cup.

Played the full 90 minutes but also picked up a booking.

Dominic Corness has completed a loan move to Swiss Super League side Yverdon Sport for the 2023-24 season, subject to international clearance.

The midfielder has progressed through the Academy ranks since joining the club at the age of five and captained Liverpool U21s during the last campaign.

Leipzig have also signed Xavi Simons on loan. Hopefully that doesn't impact Fabio's playing time.

As well as those young lads gaining invaluable experience the conveyor belt at the AxA is endless, they won’t all make it of course, but the revenue we attain from the sales of these players will be quite significant,

Previously Young potential prospects would perhaps have a couple of loan spells with whichever club and subsequently sold for a minimal fee, what’s happening now is the quality levels of the young guns have risen to the point where they are very much capable of plying their talents for any professional club within the Football leagues, and therefore will demand higher sell on values, and we are talking Mi££ions,

It’s not a new concept this, we’ve been doing it years, however the quality we are producing now, since the youngsters train, learn and progress under the same roof as the top guns is paramount, it’s obviously working well, we’ve seen the emergence of TAA, Curtis, Bajcetic, Tyler Morton, Conor Bradley, Caimohne Kelleher, Kaide Gordon, to name but a few,

We also snap up youngsters from other’s like Ben Doak, Calvin Ramsey etc, and help develop their particular talents where perhaps their development may not reach same levels of quality had they remained with their parent clubs,

Safe to say then at Liverpool we not only help nurture the development of future stars for our own club, we help develop youngsters from other clubs where their facilities may not be as advanced.

      Win win !!

Another 90 minutes for Owen Beck for Dundee in the Scottish League Cup as they beat Dumbarton 3-1. Reading the report sounds like he had a belting game as well, getting up and down the left flank causing all sorts of problems for the opposition from the left wing back position.

As it stands though with just one game left in the group stage of Round 1, they won't be going any further in the competiton as they're not currently one of the best runners up. Looks like the defeat to Airdrie, in which Beck didn't play, is gonna be crucial.

It'll all come down to the result against Inverness on Sunday.

Adam Lewis season-long loan to Newport County.

Is this just a case of the best the club can do is have some of his wages covered?

Another 90 minutes for Owen Beck as Dundee won their final group game of the League Cup north of the border against Inverness but it wasn't enough to see them qualify as one of the best runners up.

He also picked up his second booking of the season in that game.

Opening weekend for the EFL and Scottish Leagues today, so a few of our lads could get some game time today.

Harvey Davies starts for Crewe as they open their campaign against Mansfield at Gresty Rd and Adam Lewis starts for Newport against Accrington. James Balagizi starts on the bench for Wigan away to Derby, while Calvin Ramsey misses out altogether for Preston - possibly still injured.

North of the border, Rhys Williams isn't in the Aberdeen squad that travel to Livingston but Owen Beck does start for Dundee as they host Motherwell.

Liverpool goalkeeper Jakub Ojrzynski has agreed a loan transfer to Dutch team Den Bosch for 2023–2024, as announced by liverpoolfc.com.

The talented shot-stopper, who has been making waves within Liverpool’s youth ranks, is poised to gain valuable experience and exposure in the competitive environment of Dutch football.

Den Bosch is a club with a reputation for nurturing young talents and will provide Ojrzynski with ample opportunities to showcase his skills on a professional stage.

Ojrzynski, a Poland youth international, joined the Reds’ Academy in 2019 and signed a new long-term deal with the club two summers ago.

Den Bosch will play TOP Oss at home this Friday to open the Eerste Divisie campaign.

      Stephenson joins Barrow
Liverpool U21s midfielder Luca Stephenson has completed a loan move to League Two side Barrow for the remainder of 2023-24.

The 19-year-old, who has been with the Reds since U15 level, will seek to gain senior experience with a first loan away from the club.

Stephenson, who can also play at right-back or in central defence, had helped Liverpool U21s take seven points from their opening three Premier League 2 fixtures this term, starting each game.

Barrow continue their League Two campaign with a trip to Harrogate Town on Saturday afternoon.

      Norris joins Tranmere
James Norris has today completed a loan switch to Tranmere Rovers for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

The versatile 20-year-old, who plays at left-back or in midfield, heads to the League Two side to build up senior experience.

Part of the Academy since U9 level, Norris has featured twice for the Reds under Jürgen Klopp and was a regular for the U21s last season.

Tranmere’s league campaign continues when they host Wrexham in a lunchtime kick-off on Saturday.

      Koumetio joins USL Dunkerque
Liverpool defender Billy Koumetio has completed a season-long loan move to Ligue 2 side USL Dunkerque, subject to international clearance.

Koumetio will build up further senior experience with the French team, having spent time on loan at Austria Vienna and made 17 appearances, scoring three goals, for the Reds’ U21s last term.

The 20-year-old joined Liverpool in 2018 and has featured twice under Jürgen Klopp, including a debut in the Champions League tie at FC Midtjylland in December 2020.

Dunkerque continue the new campaign by visiting Ajaccio in Ligue 2 on Saturday evening.

      Morton joins Hull
Tyler Morton has joined Hull City on loan for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

The Liverpool midfielder's development will continue with another temporary spell in the Championship after completing his switch to Liam Rosenior's side on Friday.

Morton has been part of the Reds' set-up since the age of seven and gone on to represent the senior team on nine occasions in all competitions.

The 20-year-old, who signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool in January, made 46 appearances for Blackburn Rovers in 2022-23 during a beneficial loan.

Hull are next in action on Saturday afternoon when they visit Leicester City, having won two of their first four league fixtures of the new campaign.

The Carvalho loan looked like a good opportunity until they signed Xavi Simons.
From then on he was never going to get a lot of football unfortunately.

Have a feeling he will goto a championship team.

The 6 months away in germany will have done him good from a personal view, experiencing another different culture etc. Life experience's are important.
